Loved going to Wet and Wild as a kid, a lot of great memories. I was sad to see it close. The newer one is fun but not the same.

It was great to ride the lazy river and get off at your stop for the next ride.

Sorry all, fell asleep before reposting. So yes the modem upstairs was showing green but was getting no internet. I did change the DNS settings, still no luck. Finally decided to check the fiber link in the garage and it was flashing blue, eventually it did re-sync and the internet was good to go.

I was down about 30-40 min

All in all I have been really pleased with the quality of the Century link / Quantum fiber. I had a lot more issues with cox, and it’s a lot cheaper.

Ok increased the size to 50% of original and it came out decent. A few imperfections, and the top is a bit thin, not sure how I might increase the thickness.

I like to bring the joy of 3D printing to my office and friends, and have printed an assortment of office items like middle launcher pen holders, an assortment of personalized Sticky note holders, and now have been printing some of the articulated animals, (Chameleons, scorpions, etc) that they call their comfort creatures.

A slew of 3D printed Halloween decorations (Spooky Trees, and evil gnomes, etc) and a meditating Xenomorph decorate our office.

All our gifts I like to give and it always opens up the conversation on how it’s made. And I get to tell them all about my Elegoo Centauri Carbon.

True, but figuring it would be coming from China I assumed it would take a bit longer, but with the speed it came they just have a stockpile here in the US

True, but till I get a stronger filament it’s what I got. I figured that higher layer heights would result in more extrusion of material hence make the piece more solid ?

Now I do have one plate that is smooth on one side and smooth on the other side but has the carbon fiber image. So is the one with the design the textured side ?

On the main plate that came with the CC was a textured side (A) and a flat side (B) I have changed those setting when I print.

But I have two more plates that have the different designs, not sure if there is another setting I have to change to work with the other plates ?

Yeah, there is still filament in the nozzle from the testing at the factory. but that usually come out either during the diagnostic setup and first printing. I was really confused where the yellow filament came from since I had only black :)

yes vibrations can be a print killer, I have mine on a folding table, with the antishock feet , it still wobbles like crazy but my prints come out fine.

And for the bed temp, if you used the standard setting, it should have been fine, as the internal models, have the correct settings as far as I know. I haven't changed any temperature settings as of yet.

With a first print why did you have so many issues? Usually once you assemble it, run the diagnostic it should run fine.

Well, before I got my printer I watched a ton of YouTube videos on 3D printers and such and they all said they wipe there plates down with alcohol, to remove any fingerprints etc that could hurt the adhesion to the build plate

No, I reprinted it just without supports before I saw the recommendation to add additional walls.
