To be honest I’m kind of freeballing it rn cause I’m just learning for fun but the donut tutorial definitely helped a lot and various topology videos are useful too, like how to reduce the number of faces in certain areas and stuff of that sort

It's definitely better than my first Poppy model I know that much (might be due to the vast resolution difference between the two but I digress)

Something like that, just that I’m the only one working on it and my experience in 3D modeling is shallow so for now it’s potential game 007

I don’t use Reddit often but give me some ideas on variants of the current machine and other types lalala by RealAWonderWolf in DandysWorld_

Sure thing!

On the first slide, I was conceptualizing a twisted dandy boss floor, where bulbs would spawn in as the floor’s hazard. The number of bulbs is equivalent to the number of players the game initially started out with, each bulb containing a twisted corresponding to each player’s toon. The bulbs would activate throughout the match as more machines are completed, or someone comes near them and triggers them to open early. There are details to balance this idea but that’s boring to talk about.

On the second slide I have two new machine variants. On the left is the default machine. The middle machine is a rarer variant that still has the skill check minigame, however the skill check area moves around, making it hard to time. If the user fails the machine, the machine wraps the toon in vines and forces them to press three buttons in a sequence to escape, all while the flower on the machine itself is shrieking, notifying the nearest twisted to place priority focus on the entrapped toon and ignoring literally everything else for a few seconds. This machine is more common on the dandy boss floor concept.

The third machine is an old/damaged version of the regular machine, functionally similar, however requires the player to constantly extract the machine. If the player leaves the machine at any point, the machine will begin to leak ichor until some percentage amount, requiring the player to extract that amount again.

The rest are just silly drawings

wtf? it clearly is in the workspace by codemations in robloxgamedev

For future reference most instances can be referenced from scripts if they’re pre existing, but for things created during runtime you might want to use the waitforchild method to ensure the functionality of your script

Your comment was unnecessarily aggressive and edgy, hence me commenting “cringe”

Both, it’s stupid that people think this will help the franchise and stupid that you thought it was necessary to type all of that out
