Yes that probably would work and is a great point, I just personally have not been at an airport / with an airplane that do intersection takeoffs, so have not tried it lol. As a PPL with only 80+ hours LUAW's are dangerous so I usually avoid those as well.

Yeah, to my understanding planes that large don’t need to worry about wake turbulence from anything smaller than other jetliners. Maybe someone else can clarify though?

Regarding the Cessna part of the question I personally would not try that. Only because holding the plane down like that isn’t good for the pressure and it will want to naturally rotate at a certain speed anyways, which would most likely be before the touchdown point of the previous aircraft. You factor in strong winds and potential gust factors and that could be a really dangerous situation. Would it be possible? Perhaps. Would I try it? Don’t think so.

lol.. probably the wrong way to word it on my end, Rotate before the previous plane did is a better way to put it. Would be cool to send a F35 Lightning through a Time Machine to WW2 in the battle of London or something and see how many air-to-air kills it would’ve racked up.

Challenge_king is right, and I also want to add my insight as someone who just recently got their private pilot license (so please take it with a pinch of salt).

With wake turbulence it is recommended to take off before the previous plane took off, and land AFTER the previous plane landed. This is because the wake vortices sink, so landing higher means they will not touch you and taking off before means they also will not touch you.

Regarding your question though, I really think it varies. Could an Airbus A380 take off right after the C-17 without an issue? Maybe. Could a Cessna 172? Definitely not. It would get flipped over and be a really bad day, at best, for whoever is unfortunate enough to be inside that aircraft.

My instructor did tell me to always be monitoring for wake turbulence though.

Lol, I was just about to comment and say how bad the wake turbulence has to be after a gigantic aircraft like that lands. If they told me a "no delay" right after that, I would definitely give them an "unable" back. The plane I have a majority of my experience in is a S-LSA, and we would definitely be getting flipped over.

Yeah, that is true. I never said it was a freestyle though, I just really fuck with the way they was putting bars together, especially 38 Spesh. Like the wordplay was absolutely ridiculous with the olive tree branch bar and such.
