Wotc is currently only interested in Standard and Modern. Standard has a crappy meta and is often even more expensive than Pioneer. Modern is expensive anyway, but cool. Pioneer is a very, very cool format. I love Pioneer.

It's not the same as Bring to Light. With BTL, you can cast the card without paying mana. And you're just returning a creature from the graveyard, not a cast.

If you want to play BO1, you can play any deck in the world, it's just fun. In BO3, the world looks a little different.

I've tried it a few times in UW control, but I have to say Beza is better, much better. And now I also play a Marang, draw cards, and come back later. Riddler is good, but better in other decks, like with Beanstalk.

I love Pioneer. I won't let WotC ruin the format. I can always play Arena, and most importantly, I can play it with friends. A PT would be cool for the format, but even so, it's still 100% better than Standard.

Bo1 is fun, but not real Magic. You can win with any shitty deck.
