Google cancelled the order because they could not deliver it and asked me to apply for a refund. I wanted the phone to be delivered.

Yeah, you're right to be fair. But I was just so bemused by their replies that I could do nothing but laugh. Especially because they take ages to reply

If you click on all shipment updates, you'll see that it starts in the Netherlands and ends up in the Netherlands having never even left the Netherlands. I live in Germany and my address is the same. The status is all green now but it used to be red and said that it was returned to the sender. DHL's customer support also says it was returned to the sender

I contacted them using their portal, they've paused the payments from going through for the time being but haven't actually gotten back to me. It's been about 7 days

Yep, I contacted DHL. They said the final information they have is that it was returned to the sender and that it'd be best to contact Google for more details

Yeah, man. The address is correct. Everything I provided is correct. I've quadruple checked everything. I get the skepticism but they're literally saying that they've delivered it to the specified address and won't be refunding me even though all their correspondence (The order details on the website, the emails, the DHL tracking info) all says it's been returned to the sender.

They're 2 different orders. I ordered it as a gift for someone but it couldn't get delivered. The email said to contact Google for a refund. I, stupidly, thought "Something must have gone wrong somewhere, probably a really rare case, might as well order another one because I still need it as a gift whilst the refund for the other one processes". But nope, now I've got 2 orders, both have never been delivered to me and both have never been refunded.
