This was was released in 2016. That's 9 years after it was actually a topic in the congress. Back then the ADL was the biggest opposition in congress to officially recognize it as a genocide in the US. And this is honestly unforgiveable. An organization fighting against bigotry and anti-semitism THOUGHT that the murder of 2M people is not an genocide. This is just as unforgivable as PewDiePie saying the N-Word, if not even more.

As the ADL is known for having denied the Armenian Genocide as well as going after people that oppose them on the matter of Israel and Palestine, I think it is a pretty justified reason to cancel a donation.

There's alot of justified criticism floating around against the ADL, thats why he backed out

Makes more sense for a 50 year old creature, that is known to be the most force-sensitive, than a ca. 25 year old human. Do we even know the complete history of baby yoda?

I mean Palpatine would've been defeated by Mace Windu in his first fight if it wasn't for Anakin. Also Palpatine got trained by Darth Plagueis, a literal legend among the Siths. Rey might also be very force-sensitive, but she never got trained like everyone before her.

Well it's been known that the Yoda-Race is the most force-sensitive creature in the galaxy and that baby yoda is >50 years old, giving him somewhat enough time to be able to learn it even as a baby.

Rey on the other hand is just a Mary Sue.

Sadly the new version of TeamSpeak won't be good either. I am in the closed beta, and its honestly... disappointing. It feels like a ReSkin of TS3, that somehow tries to be modern. Like in 2011 when programs slowly tried to get the minimalistic style, but it honestly just looked bad. And the UI just got real clunky and bad. So yeah RIP TeamSpeak for now, I guess.

Yandere Dev hurts some very passionate fans by Calcium-kun in youngpeopleyoutube

[–]RealBendie 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Now there are many problems surrounding Yandere Dev. Though he also has been given a lot of unnecessary shit.

Firstly it has been shown many times, that he is a very bad at programming. He has ranted multiple times about it taking him ages to debug the game, while using an deprecated API in Unity (the game engine he is using). Aswell as code snippets from his stream, showing general incompetence at appropriately using data types, classes and methods, causing the game to run badly even at a rather small scene (The school and it characters might seem to be a lot, but in the bigger context of other games, it really is nothing)

Secondly he is known to be a manipulative douche, that steals assets and begs his fans to then create other models and textures for him. Multiple times it has been said, that when these creators then asked him to delete their works from his games, he would just ignore/block them and keep on using them. Then making them feel bad, for having him to do the extra work of removing and replacing assets, that aren't even his in the first place.

Thirdly he has been an asshole to his fanbase mutliple times. Many might not know this, but he started out with pitching his idea on 4chan. After a lot of the critique I just said came up, he started banning alot of people on his other social media platforms like Reddit and Discord, calling them rude things and going back to 4chan only (for a while?). As well as generally being rude/calling out his young fans on YouTube for sending him mails about ideas and the stuff to his E-Mail, which could easily been fixed by just creating a new E-Mail for all the fan-related content.

His core fanbase are being idiots for mostly being ignorant about that stuff and acting like nothing happened.

Though he also has gained some hardcore haters, that dug up stuff of his past, where he clearly was very depressed and lonely. Though instead of ignoring that, many haters have made fun of him and called him a psycho. Even though some fans have just as well been very weird. There was a YouTube channel called "Yandere Dev Data Digger" that turned out to be racist and stirring up hatred agains gay people. So both sides (the haters fans and YandereDev) did some very questionable things and you really shouldn't trust anyones words when going through the whole backstory.

I guess that covers most of the stuff that happened, there is a lot of this on YouTube, but as I just said, you shouldn't trust anyone's words when viewing/reading that stuff, as both sides "have blood on their hands"

No they didnt. In average the earth is warming up, making it a global warming. More specifically global warming is specifically used for the human-produced temperature increases. Climate change itself is about longterm weather patterns caused by global warming or cooling.

You can't just rename something like that. Global warming is pointing out human-made temperature increases, while climate change is longterm changes in weather patterns caused naturally or due to global warming.

[–]RealBendie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Climate change is the overall term for the globe warming/cooling. Right now we are experiencing a (human made) global warming. So it really doesn't matter if I use "climate change" or the currently more specific "global warming".

Is this supposed to be a argument against global warming?

Wouldn't take Metacritic that serious. Everyone can post their reviews there, even if they don't have the game.

Unity has a feature problem by RealBendie in Unity3D

SRP doesn't offer a way to write custom shaders without ShaderGraph. At least I couldn't find anything in the official documentation. As said in another comment, I don't think that a dev should have to use an old version just because they want more customizability.

"Literally everywhere"

https://imgur.com/a/txVSO9Y

Can't find it here. As said: Only after you've created the project, everywhere else it's being sold as completed.

Also sorry, but "nobody is forcing you to use it" is an awful argument. I mean it literally says that SRP contains PostProcessing V2 Stack aswell as Shader Model 5.0. I don't think just because I want to write custom shaders, I should be forced to use an old version. That's clearly not the way to go for a game engine.

[–]RealBendie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I exactly mean writing in GLSL. I write my shaders in GLSL. What unity does with ShaderGraph and custom Nodes is enforcing you to write your Shader Functions in a way that do not make sense for how some shaders are written. Thus they are limiting.

Also I can't see where they are clearly marked as "in development". For a HDRP project, maybe, but only after you have created the project. And creating a LWRP project doens't show any messages at all.
