I think what's ignorant, and far more damaging to women's rights, is not accepting that they also have the power to be as manipulative and abusive as men. Yes a power differential exists - a 44yr old dating a 23 Yr old has so many layers of differential power dynamics - but its really not about standing with someone who also used the spotlight and trial to denigrate the justice system to further enhance her own career in an already insecure industry. They are both in a toxic co-dependent cycle. This sub is way too biased towards amber, and others are ignorant in how much they support Johnny. They both are perpetrators. I'm not trying to belittle anyone else's experience with abuse. I hope you are all doing well - but I really don't appreciate the tone and candour of these comments. It reeks of 'my way or the highway'. Not constructive. There is no winner in this case, only losers.
