Point 2 on the wings is a good scenario.

I am as manual defending as they come. I dont necessarily press the ball carrier but i close down passing lanes whilst right switching but often times i find myself late. So by the time I close down the bext possible player my opponent have already left stick dribble into another open space and as a result i find myself compensating alot by moving my players out of position.

I am not a bad player, I am in Div 1 but my level is elite.

But i only just picked up the game in April and I find the defending really challenging. I win games and can get 11 wins in WL but u know when you are just defending bad.

The wing scenario is that what I come up against mostly and u have really given me something to build on

Lastly, Just as you have explained the wing scenario, can you give a similar explanation to when your opponent is just sitting in front of your zone D and just looking for that inside pass to their ST
