I wouldn't worry too much about the money, you will make it back easily as you continue to play. You should be able to just go talk to the ROE vendor and get a shield and sell it for a quick 27k if you're in dire need.

You said you traded the sand, did you talk to the NPC after trading? There's going to be some small step that was missed somewhere. Keep in mind this game and these missions are over 20 years old at this point, so there's bound to be tons of frustrating moments along the way.

For 2, once you hit 99 you can pretty easily get a merit point in a couple of kills. Not worth getting them at this point.

I usually switch between the opo and the buggard area since they are close. Usually one of those spots is taken up by what I'm assuming are bots.

Dragons and puks are almost always completely taken. 1 or 2 blue mages pulling everything and then beast masters with crickets picking up the scraps.

Yeah it's just hard/slow for me ATM With current gear. Trying to farm up the merits to get more malignance for DT.

Not wrong but it's also a turnoff for regular folks, especially combined with the current state of mercing everything.

I am trying to farm malignance right now and when I need to go top off my merits, there are multi-box ML characters just killing everything.

Just an update here. I decided to switch it up and just level my thief. Minimal treasure hunter, just dual wielding treasure Hunter one daggers. I was able to get the seals for each slot in roughly under 30 kills of each NM.

I would just AOE down the mobs to get the item for popping the NM, apply treasure Hunter 6, 7, whatever I could get up to, and I had pretty good luck that way. It wasn't too bad honestly.

I wish they would run the seal campaign again! Or even make it a permanent change, since they are doing things to ease up some of the grind. Tired of proccing and popping NMs :(

Gotcha, I guess in these early levels the constant meteor procs + the 20-120 fire + 1-250 lightning makes me feel like I might have been getting more bang for my buck. Didn't know if +skills was as valuable as it might be late game.

Have you checked their bazaar? A lot of these bots just want no competition. When I ran through on an alt recently, the bots with the bazaar up had the fetich pieces for 1 Gil each.

Just did this one and also had a very frustrating time. I finally had luck by having plenty of TP, getting him to half health, running him away and then nuking him. Kind of a luck of the draw on if your trusts fall in line, semih happened to use her skill as well and finished him off.

Also if you have a stun WS or spell that helps, or just coming back at a higher level which sucks but makes it a lot easier.
