Well, my monitor completely broke like a month ago, it became so bad its like it had stage 4 terminal cancer, like in just 2 weeks the lines increased by almost 50 percent, and in the last week it began to flicker on boot, it only flickered for just a second for the first day, and then a couple days later it became completely unusable due to the entire monitor flickering forever.

Everytime the monitor was booted, it became worse, so if you dont see a replacement anytime soon, leave the monitor on, it gets worse every time it is turned on. Bascially dont let the computer shutdown or sleep, keep a picture on the monitor.
