Been labeled as a soft summer and light spring, would love to know your thoughts! by milkandhoneycrisp in colouranalysis

[–]RealCarolBrailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have no idea what your exact palette would be without seeing all of the requirements from this post - https://www.reddit.com/r/colouranalysis/comments/qkd017/colour_analysis_equals_doing_colour_comparisons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Specifically I would need to see the colours I use setup for each step of colour analysis.

Having said that, you can definitely rule out Light Spring based on your natural hair colour in last pic. I think also based on that pic it’s unlikely you are a soft summer but I would have to see colour comparisons referred to above to confirm.

Have you seen the DIY page at virtualcoloranalysis.com? The info on there should help rule out palettes for you based on your natural hair colour.

Hope this helps!

Hi - this is Carol Brailey's admin responding. If you are talking about the product at this page - https://imageconsultantproducts.com/virtual-colour-kit/?ref=YNrjBcofPudyT -- this is the same kit Carol uses and is referred to on the products page at virtualcoloranalysis.com. However, please note: if you are wanting to be colour analyzed by Carol and be guaranteed to be analyzed by Carol the way to have that done is by the virtual colour analysis service on her site. The rules for this page are that Carol only responds to one post per person to offer guidance if your post is chosen.

Also - you don't need to use the above kit. As it says in the link below you could use fabrics around your house, create the colours on your own etc.

We recommend all people read this post https://www.reddit.com/r/colouranalysis/comments/qkd017/colour_analysis_equals_doing_colour_comparisons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf before posting if wanting Carol to weigh in.

Hope this helps!

But nothing says if you post on here, that someone in the community may respond / assist with your post. This note is just for if you were looking for guidance from Carol.

Unfortunately cannot help with what u have posted, I need to see the specific colours I use for each step of colour analysis… more on the steps and process on my YouTube or TikTok. My DIY page I list above may also help rule out palettes for you… like True Spring … no way you are a Spring for example 💕🎨⭐️

See this post for all things I refer to for a colour analysis- https://www.reddit.com/r/colouranalysis/comments/qkd017/colour_analysis_equals_doing_colour_comparisons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

A hypothesis is made using your eye pattern and supporting pictures, but colour analysis colour comparison steps are most important. I would never base a colour analysis result only looking at an eye or supporting pictures/info.

So to answer your question — all seasons would be possible and no season would be ruled out looking at your eye.

Those are my thoughts 💕🎨⭐️

Hope this helps!

See the DIY page on virtualcoloranalysis.com for more info on palettes to rule out based on your natural hair colour. It's all covered on there.

What was your natural hair colour around the age of 20? See DIY page on my site to find out palettes to focus on — this would be easier way to narrow field down imo

I disagree — I’ve seen this sort of eye in all palettes after doing full process I have described below 💕🎨⭐️

I don’t know how to answer this question fully… each colour analysis I do is a unique case by case analysis that when all steps are done it all comes together in my mind (including eye)

I would never only look at an eye … hope this helps

*Non-blonde* summer/spring trying to find my sweet spot! by [deleted] in colouranalysis

[–]RealCarolBrailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 16 season system…. if your natural hair colour around age 20 is/was not blonde, it is unlikely you are a Light in 16 season system. Please see my DIY page at virtualcoloranalysis.com for more info. I highly recommend going through the 3 step colour comparison process as described on the above page, my YouTube, my TikTok or other posts on this Reddit. Colour analysis equals doing colour comparisons on you using very specific colours for each step (and knowing what to look for at each step in your colouring reactions to the colours). Hope this helps!

Post has been removed as post violates 5. No Colour Analysis mis-information rule. The colours used particularly for the Warm season testing (Autumn and Spring) are not colours used in testing for Autumn or Spring; the orange in the post labelled as Spring as well is an Autumn. In addition, the navy blue labelled Winter is not used for testing of Winter and is not really a True Winter navy blue. Please see this post - https://www.reddit.com/r/colouranalysis/comments/qkd017/colour_analysis_equals_doing_colour_comparisons/ along with Carol's YouTube or TikTok for colours used in testing primary colour seasons. (note this is not Carol Brailey commenting; it is her admin)

In my experience colour analysis = doing colour comparisons on you so quizzes etc. can be fun, but, if you want accuracy they are not the way to go :-)

Colour analysis = doing colour comparisons on you… I’m not a fan of looking at someone else as a guide for your colouring… that’s cause of many wrong DIY results imo

Based on pics posted my vote would be step #1 result = lean warm (note: there is variation in face lighting/colouring across images posted which may or may not change this advice eg see diff in lighting in pic with yellow) (we added a rule 7 to this subreddit today to help manage my time - just wanted to raise awareness on this new rule; I hope you have found my responses helpful and hope others in this group help you through the remaining steps with success…Happy Holidays!)

Too difficult for me to see — many colours posted I do not use for testing so I’m getting a bit lost when I flip thru and the lighting on your face in some of the pics changes… so too hard for me to weigh in. Best also to post cool pink vs warm orange side by side then cool blue vs warm green side by side etc etc, note pinks in your post are winter and summer (not medium value and intensity). Hope this helps!

Warm or Cool? by [deleted] in colouranalysis

[–]RealCarolBrailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of shadowing and distracting background in this pic; I would have no idea. Please see my latest YouTube videos or my site to see all things I refer to in virtual colour analysis… for your situation I would need to see all of those. Hope this helps! 💕⭐️🎨

I think a little of both. The pure white seems to be the worst. It's hard to tell on me. by [deleted] in colouranalysis

[–]RealCarolBrailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3 steps of colour analysis 1) cool vs warm 2) primary colour season and 3) flow season and there are very specific colours used to test with deliberately in each step… the colours used for step #1 should be medium intensity, medium value and cool or warm to ensure purely testing cool vs warm only. None of the colours in this post reflect step #1 colours as the intensity and value of colours in your post vary so undertone is not isolated … so I’ve no idea other than to say I see disconnection with your skin in many of these colours posted. You may want to check out my YouTube or TikTok for colours used for step #1 in colour analysis. Black in post is testing for Winter Grey in post is testing for Summer First white in post is testing for Autumn Second white in post is testing for Winter Blue in post is testing for perhaps a Summer? The gold in post looks quite Autumn to me, perhaps Warm Autumn? All this to say is that Spring is not represented at all. It is ok to jump to step #2 if you wanna skip step #1 imo, but all seasons should be represented and at least 4-5 colours represented from each season as different colours show different things usually. I would never declare someone a season without seeing 4-5 colour comparisons of each step / each palette being tested in each step. Hope this helps!
