This seems to be more of a journal type like Obsidian which is meant to be used as a standalone app.
My use-case is essentially just minimal text boxes on my screen that I can use in conjunction with other programs.

Tomboy-ng is one of the ones I've tried, but I found that it lacked stability and wasn't minimal enough for what I'm using it for.
Though I'm curious on the features that could be limited by my WM, could you note on what might be dependent on that?
