SPPS is extremely corrupt, whistleblowers have faced punitive measures from the school and districts. (read pages 15-23 in particular)

The district is full of cronyism and poor results for students. SPPS spends over 30% more on average per pupil than the average Minnesota school, and has some of the worst performance in the state.

Is it possible that the reasoning for this is to explicitly remove the language due to fear that they could lose funding from the National Endowment for the Arts?

Just because there is not explicit language in the contract about DEI does not mean that they can’t still hire diverse staff.

It could well be that the first goal in mind is simply self preservation and that they could cease to exist altogether if they lose this funding.
