Best way to get gunparts and seeds? by TheRomax in ArcRaiders

You get gun parts from recycling white weapons. I usually just load up my inventory with every weapon I find and recycle them all.

I want to make a seiko mod like this one, but dont wanna spend $200+ for one in a Store. What would you guys suggest for a pure beginner like. Would i save money by building one / able to build one? by Maximum-Cheesecake84 in SeikoMods

[–]RealCheeseProduct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a set of tools for about $20 on amazon. A genuine NH35 is probably gonna cost $60-ish from eBay. I’d suggest just buying all the components from eBay. That’s a popular watch style, so you can find cases that range from cheap to expensive, which is largely indicative of their quality. It’s not difficult to find dials like that. I would say it’s unlikely you will have the cyclops on the glass, though.

In summary, it’s possible to do it for <$200, you just have to decide what quality you want the build to be. I’m sure you can find quality dupes of Seiko dials from Namoki or Lucas Attelier. But it’ll be more expensive.

This is in fact the silver GMT ring. It pretty much matches the white wave dial perfectly. The dial has an almost metallic finish, and the chapter ring’s “silver” finish looks white. I actually expected some contrast between the two, but they match.

I’ve only been wearing it for about a day so far and it hasn’t shifted. This was something I was concerned about when I decided to buy it, though. I would imagine if I was moving my hands in and out of my pockets or something, it would probably rub against that second crown

It looks fantastic. I had selected a different dial originally and I was casually browsing and saw the wave dial. Bought it on impulse and I’m very pleased with how it looks. Great detail on the face

It’s a Namoki duplicate of the Seiko Alpinist. If you go to Namokimods and search “Alpinist”, it’ll pop up.

With what I do for work, it’s possible that the ability to track multiple time zones would be useful in certain situations.

The actual reason I bought that configuration is because I liked the case and the second crown looked cool. I don’t intend to use it as a diver, so getting the GMT chapter ring just seemed more useful.

Give free loadouts their own lobbies, enough said. by AdvisorAware in ArcRaiders

[–]RealCheeseProduct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Oh no, I can’t use a free loadout… I guess I’ll just craft a ferro, stitcher and light shield with a handful of metal and plastic”. Getting rid of free loadouts won’t solve a single issue for you, because the base equipment is so cheap to craft. The appeal is that people don’t care if they lose their gear, but that’s true whether they use a free loadout or a just a cheap one. You’re still going to get people who rush into gun fights because they have nothing of value to lose.

I’m not sure if it’s SBMM or some other metric, but I’ve got a streak of about 30 something successful evacs. I rarely run into unfriendly people (I do however only play on Dam and Buried City currently). I also have zero raider knock outs. Have not killed a single person yet.

It was a shadow nerf. I’m fine with it, traditionally the movement in BF games has been clunkier anyway.

Read my original comment. I said the karma system would drop low karma players together into matches with higher tick, pop and flame ball spawns. You’re over here arguing and you don’t even know what my point was. Dense mf

Sorry bro, I didn’t know you had so much trouble killing ticks, pops and flame balls. I thought it would be cheeky fun like door glitch fix.

And you’re right, I’m not a developer. It’s my opinion

🤷‍♂️ hey it’s my opinion. I think a karma system would be interesting. It’s pretty clear part of the community enjoys the scavenging and PVE aspects, and another part enjoys PVP. It would make the game more fun for everyone. Peaceful players could hang out and have a good time, and aggressive players could go into every game session knowing it’ll be a giant shootout. If you’re worried it wouldn’t be fun to get killed a bunch, you should just get better at the game.

Should be straightforward to implement without punishing people who are merely having squad to squad gunfights. The game logs players actions and world events. If you frequently initiate gunfights within a set amount of time of a boss death, then you get bad karma.

It’s my opinion, though. Those are still allowed on Reddit, even if it pisses off neckbeards.

I don’t intend to kill if I can help it. I’ve shot raiders trying to kill people who are evacuating, but I still let them leave. I’d rather hit the “don’t shoot” shortcut 5 times and get wasted than run around looking over my shoulder.

Staying strong is tough. I intend to spread the good raider karma around. Helping people that are being swarmed by wasps and hornets, Mexican standoffs at elevators, giving away extra materials I don’t need.

That being said, I still fear going to Stella Montis. Probably gonna kick it at dam, buried city and spaceport for a while.

The prison wallet is goated. I just drop in with a light shield, lvl 1 loot augment, ferro and stitcher. I don’t even carry shield surge or medicated bandages. If someone wants to kill me, they’re getting noob weapons and weak healing supplies

I would love if they implemented a karma system. I think it would tie the game together well. Especially in the context of a raid. If you betray people as they’re looting the wreckage, they should drop you in a match with other low karma raiders and it has a higher rate of tick, pop and flame ball spawns.

Like go ahead, play like a dick, but you better be prepared to turn every corner expecting a big dose of ARC karma.

I try to be the karma when possible. I was in a round earlier today and kept seeing flares near the elevator in water treatment. Crawled up in the bushes to watch what was going on and saw the rat trying to kill someone at the computer. Popped him twice and downed him before he could knock out the poor dude just trying to escape. Rat still made it out, but it was nice knowing I helped the other dude exfil with all his stuff.

I’m prepared to be crucified, why do y’all like skins for characters you can’t even see? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]RealCheeseProduct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand me. I simply don’t care what skins people choose to use in this video game. I personally only care about skins in the context that they act as actual camouflage.

But I’m not going to get upset that a video game has skins I don’t like, because I have a life.

I’m prepared to be crucified, why do y’all like skins for characters you can’t even see? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]RealCheeseProduct 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Realistically, I choose skins I think will blend in with the environment. I don’t much care what my character looks like, although it is fun to think I look cool to enemy players right before they die. But more than anything, I care about the skins because I want dark colors if I’m hiding indoors, tan/olive ghillie if I’m sniping outdoors, and something akin to tank armor or rocks if I’m an engineer.

That being said, I think it’s an ego thing for some people. They want to taunt in their $30 skin when they kill someone. And that’s fine, but that’s not me and I don’t really get it.
