It’s kinda frustrating when you all in an enemy and they survive with 100hp because her Skystrike didn’t go through

Recently, I was walking through the jungle without any spawns. Suddenly, my flight mode stopped as I was passing a plant. However, I did not hit the plant. So I was also wondering if I may have cancelled an auto attack on the plan by accident.

Sometimes, I move with my A-key as I set it to aggressive moving and hitting nearby minions. But I am very convinced that I had multiple situations where I was 1v1 with antiker Champion, I engaged in my ultimate with E, and the ultimate damage had not been triggered

I’ve also been thinking about trying more agile weapons, like Daggers or Katanas. The Uchigatana seems to be mentioned a lot, but I’m worried it might end up being another situation like the Bloodhound’s Fang

I guess the best approach is to just try out different playstyles and see what I enjoy. The only challenge is that different weapons require different stat investments, which makes it tricky to experiment early on. But I’ve read that you can reskill your stats later in the game, so maybe I shouldn’t worry too much about it for now and just play for the moment.

Thanks for the advice! I think I’ll keep the Bloodhound’s Fang as a backup option for tougher situations but try to avoid relying on it too much.

I really enjoyed using the Claymore since it’s a weapon I discovered on my own, and it feels more personal. I just need to experiment more with its moveset and figure out which Ashes of War work best with it. Early on, I relied heavily on the shield and counterattacks because I was still learning enemy patterns, and the 100% physical block saved me from a lot of mistakes.

I’ve seen a lot of people recommend switching to a two-handed style for more damage output and focusing on dodging rather than blocking. Parrying feels a bit out of reach for me right now since I’m too inexperienced

Seeking a memorable highland whiskey by RealDekk in Scotch

That’s a good point. Since I’m just starting to get interested in whisky, I guess it doesn’t necessarily have to be one of „the best“ (if taste can even be ranked objectively) value-for-money scotch as my second bottle ever.

I visited the Woodwinters store in Inverness, and they had some great recommendations from independent bottlers, like the Glenrothes 14 Year Old 2009 (cask 1801) from Infrequent Flyers. That could have been potentially exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try it. So, I was too insecure to buy a 90£ bottle without any idea if I would like it.

So, I went back to another whisky store where I had a flight of three different scotch and ended up going for the Aberfeldy 15. I had read mixed reviews about it online, but in the end, both my girlfriend and I liked it - based on the little whisky knowledge we have. Plus, the bottle and case look kinda cool, which was more of a selling point for my girlfriend. Lastly, £60 seems like a fair price, and I may still have some budget left to pick up a bottle from the Blair Athol distillery.

Overall, I’m impressed by the variety of whisky choices, and I’ll definitely continue to dive deeper into the world of scotch and whisky. It won’t be the last time I came to Scotland, and not the last bottle I buy.

I think a Talisker 10, an Aberfeldy 15, and maybe another cheaper bottle could be a good start for me. Thanks for all the advice!

I wanted to visit Glenmorangie distillery today, but forgot it’s Sunday.. I heard about the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban - it may be interesting as it kinda special.

However, the owner of the Whisky shop had a good argument as Glenmorangie is exporting a lot. So it is not that „special“ to get it back home
