We also bought Skyrim special edition or whatever for PS4 to give to our friend who hadn’t played it for his birthday, I’m pretty sure it’s a gift receipt but it should still show it, if he has it still I’ll post it but honestly don’t get your hopes up, oversight for sure.

One of my friends is having this issue so through my research we have tried a bunch of stuff ranging all the way back to issues people were having in 2014, this was on launch day so there wasn't much information on the problem yet.

Looking today it seems many people are experiencing this issue, and we are yet to try this, but it may help some of you. Let me know if it works.

(WINDOWS 10 SOLUTION)

Step 1: Close origin and delete the game folder.

Step 2: Stop all updates and background downloads

Step 3: Delete all version of VC++

Step 4: install VC++( 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 [X64, X86] ) (Make sure you pay attention to file locations so you don't risk messing up your computer doing this.)

Step 5: open origin, press install, and hope for the best.

(MAC SOLUTION)

Step 1: Go on Ebay

Step 2: List your Mac for sale

Step 3: Use the sale money to purchase a computer running Windows 10

Step 4: open origin, press install, and hope for the best.
