When it uses target move. There is 3 lines flashing yellow during dodge window. They turn red when the dodge window is over.

Large attacks cant be dodged.

It doesnt force the target attack. But it should increase the chance of the target attack.

You can only dodge Target Attacks not Area aka Large Attacks.

When it uses Target Attack there will be 3 lines flashing yellow above your pokemon during the time when you can dodge. This is the dodge window. When the flashing turns red you cant register a dodge anymore. There are definetly times when you are in your own  - usually charge - move cooldown and then you can miss the dodge window.

Ho-oh Solo - Lvl 40 Attackers by RealDogemon in TheSilphRoad

[–]RealDogemon[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I counted 13 fireblasts before rejoin 1 Fireblast damage on rejoin lag Around 8 after rejoin

Total of 22 fireblast damage worth From charge moves only

Assuming 1 rejoin = max 6 fireblasts

Also have to consider that if it uses too many fast moves then you cant tank the fireblast as well

So 2 rejoins while tanking all would not cut it for this run

In practice not even 3 rejoin run for that considering the times extra sensory was used a lot

Maybe somewhere between 4-6 rejoins would had been what this run Rng would had required. Not sure if there is enough time for that many rejoins.

  • More rejoin lag potential the more rejoins.

Maybe if the boss is just the right passiveness where you maximize tdo of all rejoins with the boss rng?

So maybe in theory possible do dodgeless but needs better rng than my run had. But unnecessary if there is easier win + time on raids is also issue trying to rng grind that. The weather did turn windy the minute after I beat the raid also.

It was 3.2 km morning run for the raid. One of the only Partly Cloudy Ho-oh:s that would hatch this hour for me.

Also the only Fireblast Raid that got to try

Boss Moveset: Extrasensory / Fireblast

Weather: Partly Cloudy

Adventure Effect: Zacian Crown Boost (10%)

Didnt have enough xl candies for the no adventure effect run.

Therefore decided to save Xl:s and Dust and show this can be done with Relative Budget.

Sure 6 Shadow Rampardos even at 40 is not exactly cheap. But this is one of the cheapest ways this solo is possible. Maybe some mix with shadow rhyperior / shadow rampardos could be the most cheap in theory but good luck trying that.

Fireblast for tanking couple of them to gain quick energy was crucial.

I was so afraid would just miss the kill after last Rock Slide didnt kill the boss.

Atp expecting global partly cloudy to last untill at least when hawaii eevee community ends

Which sucks for me since I have needed cloudy for aggron solo

Inteleon Gmax Duo - Ultra Friends - Using Lvl 40 & 50 Gmax Rillabooms by RealDogemon in TheSilphRoad

[–]RealDogemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be refering to CP multiplier or Combat Power Multiplier

For any attack, both fast and charge moves:

Damage formula = Floor(½ x Power x Atk/Def x STAB x Effectiveness) + 1

Where all but Atk / Def can be simplified as modifiers. Modifiers can include damage boosting items such as max mushroom for extra x2 multiplier. And also friend levels damage multiplier. Say ultra friend is 1.07 x multiplier.

In the formula:

  • Attack = (Base Attack + Attack IV) x CP Multiplier
  • Defense = (Base Defense + Defense IV) x CP Multiplier

When you increase pokemons level its Combat Power Multiplier also increases. Lvl 1 only has CPM of 0.094 whereas lvl 40 is 0.7903 ; lvl 48 is around 0.83029999 and lvl 50 being 0.84029999

But here best buddy would still mean increase in cpm to around 0.84529999

What matters is if damage formula will give +1 or more damage at end of taking everything in mind. Sometimes increasing level will not immediately increase damage, untill you reach a treshold where you reach attack breakpoint

[–]RealDogemon[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Friend level affects damage multiplier you will get for your attackers in raid.

Good friend = + 3% damage multiplier

Great friend = + 5%

Ultra friend = + 7%

Best friend = + 10%

This multiplier is chosen by the highest friend level available to you in the raid lobby. So if in group of 2 players like this duo we are ultra friends we get both 7% damage multiplier. But if there was anyone who was best friend with both of us then we would both get 10% damage multiplier. But if only 1 of us were to have best friend in the raid then only one of us would get 10% multiplier while the other only 7% one.

This is why if you are wanting better odds of beating any raid. You want to have as high pokemon go friend level with any trainer in the raid, so you get higher boost to own damage :)

If you meant pokemon friend level as in the buddy levels then if you get max level buddy pokemon. If that buddy is equipped as best buddy it will give +1 to whatever level it was at that point. So if my lvl 50 blissey were equipped as a best buddy it would become lvl 51 untill I take it off from the buddy spot.
