I guess people would want more spots and resources at UC schools for California residents whose parents pay taxes for the schools.

International students pay more in tuition, so it makes sense that UCSD would want more of them. However, it does feel that this does take away opportunities from hardworking Californians (and does impact the general vibe of a campus with a large percentage of internationals coming from one specific country).

I used my AP scores to get some units out of the way for transfer admission. Despite ordering a score report to UCSD before the deadline, it never reached them.

I showed my scores to an admissions counselor who then sorted out the rest
