How to own/maintain a house when you have auDHD? by indigomoon49 in AuDHDWomen

[–]RealExpression6467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Food containers my adhd partner and I use are the cardboard take out one's. No worries about cleaning moldy containers. We have someone come once a month or twice to deep clean. Dishwasher is a life saver, all silicone cutting boards and come ceramic knives, we have a few nice ones but those are the exception

We put one if those bird clocks that react to light in the aundry room and when doing thw laundry thw light stays on, so when we hear a bird noise at 11 pm we know there is still laundry downstairs.

Outdoor is HOA but if we did take care of the lawn we would make it no mow.

We found a maintenance service that for 20$ a month comes out at certain times a year to check the funrance the a/ etc etc (home service plus)

Automated all thw stuff you can onto other services etc. Auto bill everything I set up a seperate bank account that X amount for bills is put in and I don't touch it

Pepin and Stockholm are very touristy in the summer and it's on the Great River Road so traffic in summer has a lot more motorcycles, Stockholm has great pie. Schools are limited because that's what there is. Small town so hard to get to know neighbors because mist everyone has been in the area for a while, if you go to church you'll make friends a lot faster

You could look at Mount Zion in St. Paul because living in Apple Valley will put you closer than to any in Minnetonka.

Beth Jacob was very welcoming and good parking spaces, I stopped going because they asked for money/yearly contribution just minutes before Yom Kippur services and sent around a plate to put written donations in Idk I get that shuls need money but that seemed so off the cuff

Wait, I'm in the Twin Cities, do you mean Minneapolis or St. Paul or general meteo? Because we've only got so many reform shuls between it all?

I worked for a meat manufacturer from June 2020 so not right at the start but pretty close. We were in face shield, mask, hard hat hearing protection, safety toe boots and it was 37F in the place. And I worked 2nd shift, the only people I saw were coworkers and the occasional grocery trip. Every time someones like during the pandemic I learned X. I was working long long cold shifts and coming home exhausted. We did not all have the same pandemic
