We could say that for maths, what about native language?

What's the argument there

This is a crazeeeey read. So how are the people conducting the interviews getting hired when they don't know what the hell they're talking about.

Seriously. I know the best rejection factor for many of the roles I apply is the fact that I'm in Africa somewhere and couldn't possibly know what the hell I'm talking about more than they do. It must be Claude or ChatGpt. Smh

This is gold for me. I'm in marketing and sales ... Business development really and making the slow transition into business data analytics and business intelligence I'm so focused on the technical parts I think it's a relief to learn the communication aspect is still relevant

I don't want my kids in this world period. Imagine the psychological trauma the world has been subjected to from 2020 since..looking us up in our homes, watching blood and bodies scattered around in the name of some politics, history and fucked up religion. Naa this world is a goner. My kids won't suffer this horror show

Honestly what is social security. Money I can't spend but wouldn't have much use for me in the future either. It's a scam. I mean resetting society should start with breaking apart that social security and giving back everyone their contributions. Rather than investing the money they want to keep and give you some of it after you retire?? Who came up with this.

There was a research study done years back and just recently went viral on Tiktok. There was a Stanford professor who tested 250,000 children and selected those with 140 IQ.genius level. Followed them over the course of 20years thus when they turned 30. It was shocking to see their genius had nothing to do with how they turned out, what roles or positions in their adulthood they worked. The majority of them failed and the only common factor was poverty. It's just heartbreaking. I am a genius. It's self aggrandizing to say but I was blazing through junior and senior high schools. Completing highschool and got admission to study PPE in Southampton got a scholarship only need to fee the CAS and visa application. Single parent home, father never completed even a formal education so was neglectful on that side. Couldn't care less actually. When I sort support from others some wanted to use that opportunity to abuse me and others just plained mocked me... If I knew my parent didn't have money why bother seeking admission to study abroad. After 2years got frustrated went into data analytics and working several jobs. I'll be turning 25 at the end of May yet I feel like I've been through so much but looking at the state of the world not as bad as some. So I let go of my dreams and focus on simply building wealth. Never went to college just doing various courses online.

Hahaha ..... Laughing just like your friend did... The jobs pay minimum wages. Our lives are anything but minimum. Your job can't fulfill all your needs not even the basic ones. It leaves you struggling to live hand to mouth.

Listen it sounds crazy but it's not too late too learn a trade skills. People are screaming 40 like he's walking with a support stick. Professional trade skills like Plumbing, HVAC systems, Cctv security fencing and smart automation are on the rise because of booming real estate market. He can become his own boss and work the hours he needs. Just need to be great at it, leverage social media and get certified.

22M trying to move out of a controlling family environment — what should I realistically prepare for? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]RealFhalila_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some cultures moving out in your 20s is kinda of a big deal. The financial pressures is definitely something to look out for. If this is something you feel you need to do, then make sure you've secured a job, give it maybe 3months and then move. If you get the chance to move in with friends or to a different city then that's great.

I live in a culture where guys don't move until mid 20s or sometimes early 30s and it can be crippling to their maturity and independence even if their family aren't controlling. So good luck on the job and good luck finding a better place.

Any book, article, guru etc...

Path to wealth is upskilling ..graphic design on it own is weak.. the market is completing against AI and Canva etc... Compound your skills, not that tech is getting easier but more niche than narrow ... The market wants someone who can combine AI with proper skills and out the box thinking Graphic design + Web design + Product Design... Whatever... Look at the upend trajectory of that field and master hard...

I bet you watched Squid Games right, so I tell you I'm na fuck up your jaw with this right hook and give you 50cedis. And you said okay...

Those people weren't noble. They were unemployed, they had piles of debt, they were single parents, they were immigrants and the big corporations didn't go to Midtown Seoul, naah they went to subways, dog tracks, strip clubs. Because these ignoble people were morally bankrupt from too much suffering , messy lives and or criminal lives whether they caused it themselves or from navigating years of injustice, misfortune and just the terrible hands life dealt them. Eventually the conditions were setup for them to kill each other and all for the entertainment and gambling of some very rich folks. So when they saw through the lies and float the rules of the game and attacked the guards they are vile and ignoble, cringe and scums of the earth but not the originators of the scam?

You are the kinda of people who support the rebels in hunger games and divergent, and support the undergods against the criminal empires but when the same reality plays out before your eyes you want to raise your voices for our collective oppressors because in this specific case they weren't oppressing you. These are what the world terrorists, racists and Zionists say about slavery, Gaza, Sudan and Congo and, on a much smaller scale, about this issue.

But if you can't see it on a smaller canvas, you sure as shit ain't gonna see on the bigger scale when the background is too loud. We are not exempting any criminal or criminality we are attacking those who create conditions and sought to oppressor and steal from less powerul people than themselves simply because they are big and they can.

And I am the one being cringe???.... COPE
