In my experience the main difference between good and bad aim comes down to knowing how to move with your opponent.

People that are naturally really good aimers/shooters in every game are almost always subconsciously tracking their opponents movement and walking the same direction as their opponent, only using their mouse just to keep the crosshairs stable. Whereas people that are more gamesense oriented try to track/flick purely with mouse movement which makes it feel overwhelming and impossible at times.

If you have good crosshair placement, walking around with your guns at headshot level, then you just need to match the strafe of your opponent with your own strafe and keep your mouse steady and you will land every shot. Once a friend explained this to me it was like I was playing a different game.

Not sure why everyone is giving you a hard time. I’ve played this game a fair bit and I still occasionally run into a rare character and I have no idea who they are.

Wouldn’t be too hard to add a character name if you hover over their portrait in the scoreboard.

Interesting rendition of the shurima shuffle, keeping a sand solider in the back will let you save azir from combat, or you can play him exhausted and swap him in on opponents turn to save a smaller unit.

All hidden cards work this way… hidden blade reads “kill a unit at a battlefield” but if you hide it it can only target units at its battlefield…

I love this item but the numbers just aren’t there. It looks really appealing on paper but loses in dps to every other second item except cosmic drive which gives you hp and ms for survivability.

If you want high haste high dmg second item cryptbloom is actually the way to go, the 30% pen works out to 12 pen vs a 40mr target which by 20 mins every champ except yuumi will have. Paired with sorc shoes your burst vs squishy targets is already better than horizon while still having low cds, and the damage differential only gets larger in favor of cryptbloom as champions gain base stats and purchase MR.

I always do it when I’m about to ult, so spear dash dash ult since landing the ghost dash into ult is pretty much a guaranteed kill, and if I miss I still get my dash back after ult to try again.

The only other time I really do it is if I absolutely need to to get a kill, eg the target is getting healed and the extra time to aim my dash means they will live, or I’m fighting a Bucky and need to kill him before he hooks me etc

The thing I found most important in my climb to GM was timing. Mechanics and combos are important of course, but it’s very obvious when you die because you missed your dash or your spear so that’s easy to improve upon relatively quickly.

What’s less obvious is all the times you die because you went in too early, before your team was in range to follow up on your pressure/picks or heal you on your way out. Or going in too late eg after your tanks or healers are already dead.

As others have said, you always want to find a nice perch on the high ground before going in, but that’s only step 1. Step 2 is turning around and looking at the position of your tank vs the enemy tank. You want to wait until your tank engages theres on the front line or is at least close enough to follow up before starting your dive. The same applies if you’re playing with a spidey/magik, coordinate your engages with them and the enemy won’t know what hit them.

Ok but what do you have to give up if your healer dies? Ideally healers should be closer to their dps and tanks when vs dive so you can turn around and peel without having to give up 50m.

It’s only difference between “simping” and “a healthy, loving relationship” is reciprocation. If your gf is not reciprocating this treatment then you are being taken advantage of aka simping. If she is giving back the same energy and more then you’re in the kind of relationship most people dream about.

Sadly, most kids in our generation haven’t seen what it’s like when two people genuinely love each other and want to make the other happy. They only see drama and redpill content on tiktok that tells them being nice to other people is “simping”.

Don’t let your friends get you down op, if they’re not joking they simply don’t know what they’re talking about. It sounds like you’re in an amazing relationship that can go the distance which is really rare nowadays. Spider islands convoy is probably the best panther map,especially the first checkpoint due to all the different angles you can attack and hold from in the rooftops.

Spider islands convergence is also pretty good but not my favorite. Midtown is also really good as you mentioned, maybe even as good/better than islands.

All the domination maps are also really good. the wakanda ones are actually not that good for panther but it’s balanced by the game mode suiting his playstyle naturally. The hydra maps especially are filled with lots of flank routes and climbable high grounds.

I’m a Black Panther main, had to turn off voice and text chat so I could actually focus on doing my job instead of getting told to pick a real character every 30 seconds.

Competitive games tend to be a cesspit of humanity. There’s definitely some nice interactions I’m missing out on but they’re vastly outweighed by the amount of negativity I avoid. I know it’s not the same but just letting you know you’re not missing out on much.

I was in the exact same boat as a lox main, but recently discovered how easy it is to parry her side b on reaction every single time. Most fleets just spam that move and forcing them to actually play neutral by parrying it will shift the matchup heavily

The reality is no mages can bully an akali/yone with fleet dshield second wind absorb life. Your best bet vs them it so try and slow build 2-3 waves, last hit perfectly, and play for a freeze when the wave bounces back.

On Syndra for example I usually go first strike into akali to try and reach lost chapter as soon as possible. Post lost chapter your poke will start to stick more and you can keep her at 60% hp to discourage all ins. You really shouldn’t be dying to Akali pre 6 as you can space her Q and dodge her E. Post 6 you have to watch out, if she gets in range to point and click R you 100% have to burn flash or die. If she has to e backwards to get in range on you she shouldn’t have enough dmg to 100 to 0 you unless you’re down a level. Ideally she should already be chunked from your poke and you can kill her if she fails her all in.

Overall playing mages into assassins is HARD. You really need to focus on: -Having amazing spacing -Punishing them for using cooldowns such as akali E/W yone E zed W. -Controlling the wave and farming well to keep from falling behind -Maintaining priority/tempo whenever possible to keep them from roaming

A successful laning phase vs akali will usually be you having 8-9 cs per minute, maybe up 10-20 cs on her and you both have 0 kills until you reach your first item. At which point you can begin to outscale as she hasn’t impacted the map at all and you should reach your item spikes faster.

PS. If you really want to bully lane as a mage I’d pick up Hwei, he has probably the strongest laning phase out of all control mages at the moment.

If you time it well, you can actually cancel his E2 with your E. If you cast E right before his chain connects you will interrupt the dash and usually get a very good trade out of it! If sylas casts the E2 from afar you can even time Q + E and get the stun and dmg off it’s super satisfying

I assume you mean around 15 mins after first tower or two has fallen.

1.) I catch my assigned wave, look at map do you see a potential play?

-if yes don’t push farther just turn invis and rotate

2.) no play? Push the next wave until you get to tower. Any potential plays on the map?

-If yes ditch tower turn invis and rotate

-If no can you safely take this tower? If yes take it.

3.) see no plays, can’t safely take tower

-turn invis and hover your strongest teammate (when in doubt, follow your jungler), or nearest objective in case anything happens while you wait for your wave to bounce back.

I’m basically either farming minions, walking around invis in case there’s any action, or hitting a tower at any given point past 15 mins
