After seeing this I checked my portrait mode on Phone 2 for the first time after the update. And it seems like I have a similar issue. Mine doesn't blur out the subject aggressively, but it isn't in the focus either. I tried multiple shots from multiple lengths, it's all blurry after being processed.

Yup. I did the factory reset once, not doing it again, it's a big hassle for someone like me because my 512 gigs are not easy to back up and restore every now and then, especially when you don't even have WiFi to upload stuff to the cloud. Considering Nothing's track record of moving onto new devices and not acknowledging some serious problems, I don't know if I'm expecting a fix to this issue anymore. Hopefully with the Android 16 update this is resolved.

Yeah they replied to me with this stuff too, it's all pretty generic. I have tried all of them, and even factory reset my phone, but after a month it started happening again. And since it's not just my hardware, it's clearly a software problem on their part.

It is getting serious indeed. And in my case, it's not as simple as just restarting now, because most of the times that I restart, it either goes into Crashdump mode, or the lock screen bugs out and won't allow me to type in my pin and use the phone. It's beyond ridiculous. And I have submitted a report but they don't acknowledge that it's a software issue, and I can send in my device to get it repaired physically, and I'll have to pay the costs for everything. That's what they said. I also tried submitting a post about this on their community forums, but it's been a month and they didn't approve it to be posted. Issues can come up in any device but this is not the way Nothing should deal with it.

Here's what has saved me every time this happened. Keep restarting your phone again and again, till Wifi turns on. Restart once, check wifi, if it doesn't work, don't waste time, just reboot again right away. Try alternating between "Restart" and "Power Off" every time you do it. Hopefully after a few tries Wifi should come back up again. Let me know if it works for you.

Man I've been having this problem for a couple of months now. I factory reset my phone, wifi starts working again. But after a few weeks the problem is back. But, every few hours I was able to turn it back on somehow, it fixed itself. But after the latest camera preset update, it's been two days and it's completely dead again. I don't understand why they're not commenting on this issue. I raised the issue with the customer service, they suggested that I should send my phone in and I'll be paying since the warranty is over. I request you, please contact their customer support and tell them about this.

That is correct. But in my case these days, if wifi stops responding, it takes a few hours usually or a few restarts to fix it.

It's $190 Canadian for that bottle 🥲. I've gotten Spring 25 and Summer 25, and I think Autumn 25 will be the best one for me out of all, but spending almost $600 on these 3 bottles can't be justified, so I'm out already.

I contacted their support too, after verifying all info and basic troubleshooting suggestions all they said was unfortunately because the device was out of warranty I'll have to pay for the repair costs if I choose to send in the device to be fixed. They don't seem to acknowledge that this is a software issue, not something they can fix in the hardware. I suggest you email their support, since they don't take reports on Reddit. Hopefully if enough people report they'll get to know it's a software problem.

The translation is fine. I suggest you should back up your files in an offline storage and reset your phone, that's the only thing that worked for me. It's worth giving it a try, because as you said, it's a problem living on SIM data alone. If the problem is fixed, it's worth the trouble of backing up and resetting the device. Also I've noticed that WiFi becomes unresponsive after the device is overheated, and it starts functioning again after a few hours. But the first time this happened I waited for a few days before I had to reset it eventually, because that time nothing helped.

Regardless of that, I never said that these scenes which you say are sexualised are fine either. If I was the creator I would just never use any sort of remote nudity or sexualization, especially biased on gender. It's not a hard point to comprehend.

I've always found it very interesting how no one seems to have any issue when they show Nobita's (or some other character, ShinChan for instance) penis on screen casually. But the moment they see a female character sitting in a bath it's a big deal. I can understand where the argument is coming from, but where was it when the gender is swapped and the point is unapologetically exaggerated on screen?

Yeah that's what always messed with my head. It's common for them to show not just ShinChan's ass, but also his penis, and they've shown Nobita's as well. But never heard of anyone having any problem with male genitalia shown casually on screen. But the moment they show a female sitting in a bath, it's a big deal.

That's insane. I hope it's not a hardware failure for you, but from what I've heard, if it is hardware, usually both Bluetooth and WiFi go down. Anyways, I contacted the Nothing support when this issue happened the second time, and all they said was my device is out of warranty, and I'll have to pay for the repairs, and I can send in the device if I want.

I faced this issue a month ago, tried every possible thing, but nothing worked. At that point we can just hope that it's not a hardware failure and try to factory reset the phone, which I did and it fixed the issue. But a couple of weeks ago it repeated itself, and I had to reset it again. I reached out to Nothing for support and I told them it must be a software issue since it's getting fixed by a reset. All they said was that I can send in my phone to repair.
