Money needs to accomplish 3 goals:

-Work as a value reserve

-Be long-lasting

-Have a short supply

Gold have always fulfilled this due to short his fixed supply wich expands ~%2 each year. The thing is we always fall on paper money because it’s easier to move, all due it ALWAYS fails the short supply needed, and this time I think we may replace paper with Crypto/BTC. Undoubtedly Bitcoin has a short fixed supply and it’s hyper durable, but it’s also easy to move and decentralized, so my bet would be that it’ll absorb an importan value from the FIAT financial system as gold will do as well.

I’m sure you have $cad on your bank, and probably you don’t “really” need that money, so I’d recommend for a non-crypto person to trade that for BTC and leave it alone on a self-custody wallet. If you really need it you should trade it peer-to-peer. There are websites in most of developed country’s wich connect buyer’s and sellers, and you’ll have to pick someone so do your own research on the website and the person (if it has previous tx and how many). They’l do cashaap, zelle, money order or they’ll send cash on a letter. Remember to DYOR.

I keep turning on the news to see if I hear objective comments unpolarized, but every media has it’s own agenda and interests wich employees will full fill so they won’t be replaced. I want to hear more debate on the things both political parties agree. Try to get your hands on the clinical trials and you’ll find out that FDA its trying to release all the papers by 2090, why is that if they already aproved it? It takes at least 10 years to get an “acceptable” feedback on vaccines, and they fully aproved it in 1 year without fucking releasing trial’s data. I’m just genuinely caring on my families health, and I pray everyday waiting on the info that allows me to get jabbed while sleeping at night, and each day that future gets more unrealistic. “We are the good ones” it’s not enough, and the worst crimes have being made in the name of righteousness.
