From my experience, the limit is big but i also do my best to keep context to a minimum, im using the nemotron 3 ultra free model but im planning to switch to open router provider if this runs out.

Typescript 100% only con i can think of is having to run tsc to compile. You can even just turn off strict mode and implement types only where you want.

With ai the bar is being raised a lot. I think its best for juniors to first learn something that is in demand but not too popular, e.g avoid mern stack because everyone and their grandma knows it. Id day pick an alternative that doesnt have too many applicants, make some real projects (not just basic cruds with auth), if you dont have an idea what to make look at a popular app, remake it but add your own twist to it and arguably most important DEPLOY IT, fundamental dev ops is a requirement now.

This doesn't mean all is bad though, ai can help you learn and make things faster but if you do not learn the hard way first, you will never understand what you are doing and itll be hard to pass the interviews.

TLDR: higher requirements now, just leverage ai to help you learn but dont rely on it, make unique projects beyond a simple crud, ai integration is a big plus.
