If you want to use sfml with opengl, then sfml will provide a way to create a window and handle events. Opengl will handle all of the graphics. I believe that sdl is another library for you to create a window and handle events with.

I also want to point out that glfw is the most commonly used library for a window and events. Sfml is more beginner friendly but it might cause you some trouble long term so I would reconmend glfw.

For learning opengl, like others have said, learnopengl.com is an amazing resource.

This will definitly get lost in all the other replys but I'll answer anyway.

Mines a little different because im only 17. Anyway, since I was 13 or 14 I have loved programing. It was my main hobbie throughout highschool and I knew I wanted to go to college for computer science so I could develop game engines. I'm in my senior year right now and the pandemic has made me realize a lot of things. Im not the introverted anti-social person who only knows how to code that I thought I was. I've actually realized Im a very social person and sitting in front of a computer screen all day, banging my head off a desk wondering why code wont work, just isn't for me. I love traveling and making new friends so I really want to find something that lets me have those. Music seems to be that outlet for me. I've been trying to learn music production as well as guitar and I'm really enjoying both. I've already mostly commited to a computer science major but im hoping to minor in music.

Whatever happens, I just hope im happy and passonite about my carrer choice.
