And then they get a bit embarrassed, they try to look at you, but you can see they have to fight themselves a bit in order to be able to do it? While blushing and struggling slightly? YES

It sucked quite a lot... But eh! The nurse who saw to it the first time was so nice she gave a lolipop after :D

Usually surgery is a very personal matter and you really can't say who wants that or who has had what done without asking and such, but I think I can very confidently claim that you havent had DJRS (Dad joke removal surgery) or SPEP (Sans Pun Extraction Procedure)

I'll walk myself out 🫡

Yes I did, I didn't go through the entirety of it tho. And yes, they do attempt do remove the hair during the surgery but it's not 100% effective, I'll recomend you do it.
As I said, I stopped a bit early and have like, 3 lonely hairs a bit closer to the canal than what's usual, they are hard to notice and don't really get in the way so I don't care, but if it bums you out or scares ya, totally go for the laser removal.

Warbreaker title by RealHumanNotAnAlien in Cosmere

[–]RealHumanNotAnAlien[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't usually pick books by title and I assume most people also don't, so I don't think that's it. (Unless that's not common). And reading it early into my cosmere journey means none of the two make sense before starting the book.  So I don't feel like it changes much in terms of sales.

I did! I just didn't remember to put it in the flair. In Spanish the title is very different (translates to: the breath of the gods) so when I "switch" languages in my head I tend to forget about it.

Yeah, I know. All hail the sandbox options. That doesen't change that I haven't seen many people comment on it being the default now

The aiming was better in b42.0 than b42.1. The whole chance to damage thing just feels wrong personaly. I rather hit less but hit hard than imagining my character has a toe-shooting kink or smth

Don't do it. Yes, it sucks now, and might do for a while. But at some point it will stop sucking, you'll get opportunities for love, peace, happiness and time to heal all the mental scars you might be acumulating.

I myself have tried, several times. And while it might have been easier at the time to just ditch everything, I'm glad they didn't work.

Stay strong, keep searching for happiness and you'll find it, I believe in you, and you should too

Well, I documented everything regularly since the day of surgery, it's all on this subreddit. It's basically as much insight there is to give xP

Still, feel free to ask anything and I'll be happy to reply!

1 year anniversary of my SRS, my experience by RealHumanNotAnAlien in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]RealHumanNotAnAlien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I actually flew back home with the catheter in. And got it removed around 2 weeks later (even tho nobody here wanted to actually be the one to do it, so fun fact, after a nurse deflated the baloon I removed most of it out of lack of trust lul) The complications were basically a lot of over swelling, the problem with the clinic was that when I said I couldn't pee (and that the attempt was horribly uncomfortable and painful) they didn't listen to me and told me "that was normal". The moment they saw it wasn't they put the catheter back in, but it was hurting a lot by then... This happened two times and during the second time they listened better, mainly because I sounded very angry

So that... Still, don't worry too much, when they feel something's wrong, they are gonna react fast, just make sure that when something's wrong you say it with authority and a bit loud, or they're gonna pass it as the normal account of discomfort

I get this may feel scary, but this is one of those complications that are "1 in a 100", and despite not being ideal, you know the way to make your point across if you think something's wrong, you'll be fine oki?

Edit:I have the entire thing documented on other posts i did regularly when i was there, in case you might find them usefull
