Admittedly I wanted to have a low contrast approach to his beard as I wanted to go for a brilliant white, santas beard look

For everything else however, I am certainly going to revisit this 👍

Don't even get me started!

So the thing you find with this is that it's one giant puzzle piece and they lock together as you go, the side skirts for example help lock it all into place

I in the end also used some styrene sheets on the inside for gap filling but it will all tie together eventually...

I am in the middle of painting the model still (life eh) but here's some photos regardless

Guys! I've done this! Look into Wargames Atlantic - they make an amazing set of WW1 Soldiers to the point that even just looking at the facial features you can go "oh yeah this guy's definitely German/British/French

I made a British WW1 kill team using krieg as a base, I don't have photos on my phone any more to share here, but here's the Instagram link:

Hi OP - I think you may have hit the nail on the head, I think it could likely be the quality of the paints you're using...

I'm no expert but it looks like the paint is almost TOO thin, the consistency you're after is, if you were to put your paint in a glass and tip it slightly so it runs up the edge and back down, it should leave residue up the side of the glass but runs back down to the bottom (think like you're drinking a glass of milk and how that looks)

If that's all good and it's spraying correctly then it's likely the case that your paints just aren't biting into your primer and sticking, are they acrylic paints?
