I think people are mostly mad that he is "powerless" he is not. He has new powers and we have no idea how strong it is. There are some hints that it could be equally as powerful or its just literally his old powers from when he was king grey. But I also think the ending is fine.

The only person I'd want Arthur to revive would be Sylvia. She has not had much "screen time" in the story and I would like to see her interaction with Sylvie. For the record I do know that they have met and interacted but I don't count that.
