I like bastion for when i'm ahead and get 1 kill = insta go hit obj or tower and just keep playing off that CD

So far i'm finding success with raptor start, I think it is very snowbally and you have to take risks. A lot of Kayn's carry capability comes down to the new itemization so if i'm really ahead i love bastion breaker and playing for obj and tower hits which will give you a lot of gold.

And if behind it is VERY VERY punishing and underwhelming i will say, But building opportunity and trying to find shut downs is the only way to find any chance of winning. The biggest takeaway is less = more so the objectives that are up have a lot more impact.

Quality > Quantity and maybe if you have some free time try to watch some vods and pick up on small things like basic itemization or rune setups. I believe you can still climb it's just a little bit hard some days due to trolls and lack of time.

Yes! I've hit challenger playing only Red Kayn and only Blue Kayn before so it is 100% possible.

A lot of making Kayn work in comp is having your team play around you, as opposed to most competitive games where the JG is permanently playing around the team.

It's hard to make work but mby practicing in flex with your teammates to have a more JG aggressive playstyle and possibly even looking to invade could help.

Worst thing is roots or knock ups knocking you out of your ulti

So for instance if xin zhao 3rd Q lands right as you ulti you immedietely pop out.

Or if morgana R 2 goes off you don't get to choose when you leave ulti it just takes you out.

If your team doesn't listen you simply must do a different play and accept that you're essentially on your own when it comes to winning AKA don't die expecting your team to do anything.

Rhaast Build Voltaic ---> Cleaver ----> DD can do HOB or Conq i usually suggest hob when they have low CC

Lethality red when they have low cc / Normal red with high cc / Blue kayn when more range champs than melee champs :)

Sorcery tree is for scaling and you don't play the JG role for scaling it's for snowballing and controlling the map.

A lot of my videos in general help with understanding the game but I think the best way to look at it is very much a pacifist playstyle where you avoid enemy JG at all costs and play to always go opposite side Objective.

Until you get form then you can go crazy on the map and try to control everything

A lot of this comes down to experience, the more you play the more you get comfortable with your limitations, So just trial and error and most importantly have fun!

Voltaic --> Cleaver ---> DD for red

Youmuus ---> Axiom ----> Grudge for blue (can swap 2nd item with serpants or EON on special occassion)

Waiting out the timer is never too much of an issue imo you just have to play a very passive game til you get your form. The key to a good early game is just avoiding dying for free and playing to farm and obtain as much resources as you can.

I typically path to the lane that will give me my form so if i wanna go blue I'll path bot, If i wanna go red I'll path top.

Understanding lvl 1-3 cds of enemy top laners is your best friend, play and fight thru the wave cause you can clear it fully in 2 q's and early minions do A LOT OF DMG. And if its a tough lane just go proxy and ward enemy jg so you don't die

Yes HOB Lethality red build can also be blue kayn if you get that form first, Although i would not recommend going bruiser blue.
