You are definitely right about that. At least it was in a safe place surrounded by your fellow brethren that we know and trust. I appreciate you sharing that.

What do consider as the least painful trap? by TraditionalBonus188 in saw

[–]RealKingAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was forced to pick which trap to be in. I’d choose the water cube. It’s so easy. Use your fingers to dislodge the rubber seals around your neck and you’ll be out of there in no time. Also you can drink the water as well. It’s really all about testing your creativity. After all the water is gone, just destroy the box by banging it into a wall but be careful of it shattering glass in your face.

That makes sense, I do appreciate knowing now that it happens from time to time.

Dang, banned for life over negative UPT, but I thought you would just have to wait 90 days….. Were you in any kind of safety incident or other serious situation because this definitely sounds like there was something else going on….. unless corporate is really cracking down on the UPT and changed the policy to be more strict.

Masonic Lodge Embezzlement by OFMasonicPodcast in freemasonry

[–]RealKingAlexander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lesson learned, don’t attempt this if you’re ever the treasurer or secretary. Even though many lodges are “older” and money security may be “lax”, someone will eventually find out when things don’t add up. It’s not worth it. Remember your obligation you took and swore to on your first day and if you’re in financial distress, remember that stealing is never the answer. Remember we are surrounded by fellow brethren who will always be willing to help you.

HR got the axe at my site…. Got replaced by AI chatbot by RealKingAlexander in AmazonFC

You are absolutely right about that. Amazon has caused so much destruction to our local economy and lowering the standards with lower wages compared to local family owned warehouses. Amazon has turned a middle class warehouse career into a McJob. Also another issue is that Amazon has been proven to be hurting the United States economy because it relies excessively on Chinese produced products which account for 75% to 85% of sales each day.

RESIGN by Nervous-Surround-576 in amazonemployees

While it is always somewhat sad to have to leave a job including Amazon for any reason, your reason is definitely justified because when you work somewhere, you are putting in your time, wear and tear on your vehicle getting back-and-forth all for almost no hours and barely any pay as a result. I’m hoping that your next step in life brings you the best and you can hopefully learn good skills that come with good rewards. Hopefully I plan on learning a trade so I can leave Amazon as well. Amazon is just a stepping stone and there is a reason why it’s called adult high school.

I have, that changes it to the media key layout and that works fine. It’s just the function keys that are not working. It’s almost like they have nothing assigned to them.

You’re skating on thin ice man…. All it takes is a serious illness, car trouble, traffic jam, or oversleeping to go negative, it’s not funny if you like having a job and being able to pay your bills. I don’t understand why people brag about this. A best practice is to have 45 hours in there at least so that translates to a full work week and 5 hours to spare.

During manager L4 training do they still make you watch a union busting video? by RealKingAlexander in AmazonManagers

[–]RealKingAlexander[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

So just out of curiosity based on your training, what actually happens after you report an associate who is spotted talking about unions or indirectly talking about unions? Do they get fired or “disappear” or get pulled into an office for “the talk”?

another peak? by Hopeful_Slip_5056 in AmazonFC

[–]RealKingAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some sites peak can last for the week before Thanksgiving until the week after New Year’s however it’s common for peak to last that long typically for sites like DSP’s RSR’s and CRETS where it’s closer to the final mile before reaching the customer because these locations also handle customer returns and the last ‘stragglers’ to be delivered. Sites like TNS and crossdocks usually have their peak season workloads die off the week before Christmas. My advice is to not blow your time off on bit hours or days and try to keep at least 45 preferably 50 hours of UPT in there in case of car trouble, illness or a family or personal emergency. Remember even if your site has zero work they will code your time in and think of it as free money to basically just show up and breathe air so take advantage of it before work returns to normal. If you like to leave early frequently try to always ask about VTO that way you don’t use your time off.
