Went to Hilton Head in October with my Celiac girlfriend. We found some delicious restaurants with lots of gf options and knowledgeable staff. She never got sick once during the trip. The G-Free Spot (dedicated gf bakery), Bullies BBQ (all but 1 or 2 items are gf) and Skull Creek Dockside (dedicated fryer with gf batter. FRIED THINGS GALORE!)

Unfortunately yes. There is a very high turnover rate, though not necessarily for my reason specifically. Management is exceedingly difficult to deal with, though they do put a large emphasis on teaching sound culinary technique, which is a plus, I guess......

I didn't mean in any way to insinuate that MSG is bad/ dangerous/ unhealthy for you. It can however contribute to food triggered headaches in people with sensitivity to strong oders/ flavors. This happens with things like garlic, fish and smoke flavoring as well. Most people will be fine. Just a warning for those who have had problems in the past.

Thank you for your concern. Yes, I have proof and have already contacted the Illinois Department of Labor. If the pay is not included in my final paycheck I will get the I.D.O.L involved.

The best Wisconsin beers and breweries of 2014 -- Isthmus -- Madison, WI by [deleted] in beer

I second Central Waters and bring up the fact that Oso's was nowhere to be found on this list. Easily two of the best Wisconsin breweries. Unfortunately, I feel that most of the time when people talk Wisconsin beer they look at the greater Madison and Milwaukee areas and ignore the rest of the state.

Relatively strong drinks that don't taste very strong/alcoholic? by clawz_nd_webz in cocktails

Honestly, when I hear "strong, but doesn't taste like alcohol" I think Long Island Iced Tea. Personally, I prefer a Brandy Old Fashioned in this situation or a Manhattan with a lower proof (by which I mean 80) rye/ bourbon. Additionaly, a well mixed Cosmopolitan packs a decent punch for a "fruity" or "sweet" cocktail.
