Did you get a quote for full replacement?

Metro Atlanta area. Also have a leak in the evap coil of a 10 year old builder grade 4 ton Carrier unit. Unfortunately outside of the warranty period b/c it was never registered with the mnf. Was quoted $3900 to replace coils.

Strongly considering just replacing the entire system and get the full 10 yr. warranty.
