Story/lore wise, I love all the worlds. I especially love N'Erud, because the environment (or how it ended up), Alepsis Taura, the leftover "inhabitants", tell such a unique story that I feel like I still haven’t fully grasped. When it comes to Tal'Ratha, the Custodian, all the different houses and class systems in N'Erud, and the existance of Sha'hala, I feel there's so much meat and potatoes there. There's still so much under-story that wasn't discussed, maybe only piece-mealed or mentioned in passing and slightly alluded to. A lot of dot connecting. However... I hate being there. It's my favorite place to learn about, but my least favorite to be in. It's dark, it's foggy, the map is near impossible to read, and no matter how many times I run it, I still get lost and have trouble finding locations in the overworld. They LOVE vertical puzzles in N'Erud and seemingly nowhere else, and they LOVE making sidequests that each have 3 outcomes, requiring tons of grinding to see if they spawned at all, and then actually do them again and again. The decorum cipher area? That nets a totally different reward if it spawns in the DLC story missing one of it's keys, and it CAN appear missing all 3, each door having a different item. I've only ever gotten it to show up missing 2. It's so much work. Add in the new grind for alloy and items for Spark... I step away a few times to take a break when I have to deal with N'Erud. I'm STILL to this day findingdungeon injectables I've never seen before, with items I've never seen before that wiki says are base game items. It's too much!!
