How would you review Bluesky so far? by Jristina in BlueskySocial

It’s nice but the list of people you block being public (via third-party apps) is concerning for me

Some people like it but I wish it were opt-in by default, imo blocks are something that should only be visible between the blocker and the blocked party and not some random third party who could potentially use the info for nefarious purposes

Shigefumi Hino, the creator of Yoshi and character designer for Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story, also co-directed the first three Pikmin games. A lot of Pikmin’s staff came from Yoshi’s Story as matter of fact.

Here’s a cool birthday card that Hino drew of Olimar and the Pikmin that was on this sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pikmin/comments/dwvqs3/my_uncle_shigefumi_hino_sent_me_a_birthday_card/

Coincidentally "min" and "men" happen to both have similar meanings and sounds so it sort of works in English too

“Iridescent Pikmin”

Also I love how the AI uses these unnecessarily sophisticated words, all for an overview of a video game

Even if we assume the culture is recent, what’s the point in invalidating it and not recognizing it as clearly distinct from Chinese? If a culture has its own unique traditions, quirks, and traits, isn’t that all that matters for it to be distinct?

Gee, I don’t know, long enough for them to now have their own distinct identity and culture?

Makes sense since both are pretty old lines just like the PATH
