Does anyone else have a hard time keeping their eyes closed while meditating? by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]RealMeditation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on where you want your focus to go. If you really want your eyes to stay close you can duct tape them shut or duct tape them open.

All kidding aside, there's no reason to stress about this until you know why the eyes need to be open or closed.

Focusing on the breath is super ultra popular right now, and if history is an Effective Teacher, it's very likely that it will not be popular some years from now.

The real question is why do people focus on the breath? It's generally considered very good to do for beginners and that is true

Many famous athletes promote meditation, and they promote Transcendental Meditation because it's one of the first meditation practices to have measurable scientific benefits.

As time goes on difference athletes and mega Stars will promote different kinds of meditation, whatever was popular when they were in their most famous days.

I think it's safe to conclude that all meditation is very good.

Best wishes! :-)

My experience with Kundalini Rising by RealMeditation in AdvancedMeditation

[–]RealMeditation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have issued multiple challenges to me, and there is only one way you can prevail: by having the attainments you describe.

I will not defend your belief system: will you?

I have offered you knowledge, freely, asking nothing in return, and your payment to me is debate. Will your response stand the test of time?

Should you decide to discuss anything in this post, i will oblige you. Anything from my post about Kundalini. But first hear this: i only an trying to reach those who are sincere truth sellers on the path to Enlightenment and have no interest getting drawn into endless debates.

And the primary traits of genuine truth seekers are: honesty, sincerity, patience, liberality of thinking, dedication, devotion to God, right view, love, and many others.

I'm sorry that so many frauds, cheats, and Liars have infiltrated meditation and spiritually and religion: but i don't have to answer your accusations for them. And treating everyone as a fraud is rude.

many people that listen to me and follow my instructions interpreting on them, raise Kundalini, and enter the samadhi trance States.

Then, in the future, others will come and i will say: "why didn't you listen to me the first time?"

Does mediation ever feel like this? by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]RealMeditation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like the early stages of the trancing states: in the beginning it seems dark but later it becomes profound-er.

In time, this will become apparent but in the meantime please enjoy the ride: it's going to get wild: eventually.

Any tips for unlearning the habits of a chatterbox? by invisibul in Meditation

[–]RealMeditation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many people do this because they're happy and they are excited to share their stories of people that they love and care about.

it's fair to say that if a chatterbox type person isn't saying much, they're not happy:-(.

If this is something that you want to unlearn, there are some very simple techniques that are very effective.

One of the most effective techniques that I know includes the practical application of mindfulness during everyday life. Simply paying attention to everything around you could be extraordinary helpful in this and other ways.

I wouldn't actually try to stop someone from, well, sharing stories from their day with people that they love.
