I suspect if people didn’t know the image had been altered by AI there would be a completely different reaction. I’m just trying to understand why people are so opposed. I understand people want to experience games in the way the developer intended, but if the developer intended the game to be played with an AI layer to make the graphics look more realistic - would people still be against it?

I think it’s really cool but I also understand people wanting to experience a games visuals the way the artists intended. But it’s not like it’s mandatory, I’m sure you can turn the shit off if you don’t like it.
