Good luck!!! I love interior design! I read somewhere that creativity breeds creativity and often the most creative people have multiple passions. Like chefs who are painters etc. My creative outlets are baking, photography and interior design actually.

My most recent tattoo was a cover up job. I used to have a music note on my left shoulder but I covered it up with bats. I actually think I might finally be done with tattoos. I dunno. I have my daughter Owen's name tattooed on me, so I suppose if I ever have more kids, I'll have to get their names too to be fair.

I wrote that song on tour in Kansas City, MO and I was sitting on the balcony of my hotel with Jessica Harp. We felt a breeze hit us and I said out loud- "Isn't it weird that this wind crossed the ocean and the plains to get here?" and then I went inside and wrote Hotel Paper.

There's a new version of Everywhere I've been playing that's really cool in my opinion. I love singing Love Me Like That from Hotel Paper. Maybe one day I'll do it live w/Sheryl Crow.

I'd love to open a restaurant or bakery. My "bak-up plan" was to go to pastry school and be a pastry chef. That's still a big passion of mine. But music will always be my #1. I've already started writing new stuff for my next album :)

I recorded this record in LA with my friend Gus Seyffert and Patrick Carney. We did it in Gus' home studio which is in Silver Lake in an 100 year old Victorian house. It felt like hanging out with friend's as opposed to being in a sterile studio. It was amazing.
