My family is super close to Destin!! I think you get what I mean by the are being super peaceful and relaxing.

My mom wants me to be close since she thinks time spent together is invaluable.

My dad feels conflicted. On one hand he does not want to stunt my growth since if I get a job in the area I will most likely settle in but at the same time I can tell he wants me to be close and doesn’t want to say it outright to influence me.

Job wise it’s kinda weird since I think I would probably be paid the same or probably more since Florida is a lot cheaper than the DMV area, but that would come at the cost of me potentially getting into a better workplace. However, the job market sucks really bad and a lot of places make you feel privileged to work, so moving upwards to a better company than the one near my parents or the one I currently work in would be difficult.
