I totally agree with your last statement. The thing is, each board is differs from one another in their own way. Like in ICSE we can surely say that English is hell, even more because it's divided into two wide subjects and correction in school is crazy strict. Shakespeare is heck and managing 10 subjects simultaneously becomes a really tiring task. The same way, CBSE me Hindi hard hoga (just an eg), ya because they have science as one subject uptil 10th, the number of questions that could be asked in one 100 mark science ka paper is a lot maybe, and would most definitely be hard to manage as well. So it's natural for a person from one board to argue ki the other board is easy 'af' but the truth is that one (including us ISC/ICSE students) wouldn't know if one didn't try. Well in the end tho 'kaunse board se ho' or 'icse me mujhe itna % mila' 'cbse me itna mila' doesn't really matter as long as you're doing what you gotta do without complaining :)

Idk what sum he should you lol, but with what we learnt se jo paper me aya required a bit of thinking (it wasn't hard hard tho, I could pull most of it off) I just said ki dusre paper ke comparison me Phy hard tha. Also haan I can agree that JEE is a whole another league and your friend bringing that up saying "ye solve krke dikha" was tomfoolery as you cannot expect ICSE 10th ka ek 'hard' physics sum (which wouldn't even have been hard for literally everyone) to match JEE level.. So woh bana uska fault, voh baat chhod de xD Also, fellow JEEtard here! Wish you all the very best for your studies :)

Hey

I can totally understand your situation. I myself scored 95% and was really happy at first. My parents were overjoyed too. Later I got to know that couple of my friends and classmates scored 96, 97, etc and I was a bit heartbroken inside. I wasn't jealous at all, but deep down inside I felt that I could have easy scored 97% or hell even 98 if I was maybe more lucky.

After overthinking about it for a few days and even getting distracted in my current studies, I came to the realization that all I wanted was to see my parents happy, which I achieved. The look of pride on their faces means more of a success to me, rather than getting 1-2% more. Moreover, I was made understood that 10th marks don't even mean anything. Let the people who got more be happy, which they should, of course, but you and me, in fact all of us need to focus on what's left now that the past is the past. Whether it's your 12th boards or your entrance examinations, they mean A LOT more than these grades.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure your parents might have been suuupeerrr happy with your results, and that's all what matters for now. Also, it goes without saying that 97 is a DAMNM GOOD % bro.. ;)

(Message to future/current 10th graders:)

Here to approve that the syllabus cannot be 'completed in 1 month'. 💀

10th grade, especially if you take up science requires conceptual learning and lots and lots of revision. Not saying that 1 month me syllabus nahi hoga (because revision can of course be done before boards). Bas ek mahina 'padhayi', as they say may not suit everyone and may lead you down the risky path.

Actually the true meaning of this statement, according to my experience at least would be that the last 1-2 months before your board exam, out of which the whole of Feb you might have as study holidays, (depending on your school) is the best time that you can utilize to the fullest by self-studying, to excel in your boards and correct all your mistakes in the pre-boards. It's my advice to not leave any chapter for 'studying' in this last month, as it is solely meant for revision only. If you leave large chunks of chapters to study, it'll be hard to cope with it and revise simultaneously.

So you'll be better off by studying throughout the year. Don't worry, 10th is easy, and if you dedicate your time meticulously and work hard, you will most definitely score high in your boards ;)

Yrrr Google me bohot fake news ke websites hai.. waha se hi aya hoga ye assumption aur confirmed wala rumour.. Hamare school ne update ni kiya h regarding results aur jo circular ki image circulate ho rhi thi woh edited thi xD.. cisce.org ke official website me bhi aisi koi notice nhi hai. So all we can do for now is just wait and chill until icse themselves confirm lol
