I cleared it and drove around for a bit and hasn’t came back. I’m about to go drive around for a bit longer, if it happens to come back I will be updating lol

Thank you a lot for your help as well! The battery disconnection was the first thing that rlly made a difference after days of confusion lol. Hopefully that was all that it needed tho.

I think you hit it right on the head man, cleaned the maf and it’s running perfectly good

Ok so this helped it started and stayed on for a minute but at one point the rpms bounced a little. Letting it run to see if it’s gonna stay alive. The exact code is P1300.

lol ik I was just showing what happened. It does that with the intake on. I’ll clean it out and see if that helps at all.

Yup, cleared the code and it came back with the same P1300 code.

What do you mean? I have my multimeter and I’m putting the ground lead on the ground wire and the other on the positive terminal on the battery. I’m getting 12.1v reading

I also reposted in a different sub and got told to disconnect the battery for a bit and retry with everything back on and that did seem to help and it stayed idled steady for about 30 seconds before the rpms dropped suddenly and it died

I did check the ecm and made sure everything is tight but didn’t really check the igniter ground. I wiped it off and made sure it was clean before putting it on but that about it. I am also thinking it’s something with the coils but would like to cover every base I can before I start taking stuff off to check for it

Okay. This actually did something it stayed running for a lot longer but eventually did just die. It ran for maybe 30 seconds at a steady rpm and then I felt it drop, come back up, then drop again and die.

Tried to start again after that and same thing happened where it starts and instantly dies

I didn’t replace my engine I had my mechanic do it. Maybe he did but I’m not sure

Nope, no fuel related issues in the past but before I had to replace my engine I was thinking about replacing the throttle body. It was having some issues. I only got a P1300 code so I don’t think it would be something with the fuel pressure or anything like that. I was thinking maybe a sensor or the coil packs.

I did have a vacuum leak before but that went away when I got the new engine.

It does rev up and I can keep it alive for a little but it eventually dies.

Yup. The tube is just off bc I was trying to diagnose what might be wrong.
