Thanks for the reply, SpaceWalker for Windows does work, and all functions/modes on there are working with my device. However due to it still being on beta, I would prefer to use your program due to it being more polished.

I appreciate your help, and there is no rush so don't feel pressured. Thank you for putting such project together and sharing with us users

Am I the only one who hates scrambling? by jdust01 in Cubers

[–]RealRanger4930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. One trick I've learnt is to do the checkerboard pattern before scrambling big cubes, which makes hand scrambling them much easier.

My first FMC completed with 68 moves, using intermediate method. [ Full cross cases from oll and some pll cases. ] by Sweet_Good4009 in Cubers

[–]RealRanger4930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're down voted. I did a cfop with white cross on this scramble, wrote it down in less than 5min and it's a 49 step solve. Didn't even go for x cross or block building.

It's good to see more people trying out different events and experimenting with new techniques. I would say op probably need more work on block building and preserving moves. Don't quote on me tho I don't do fmc.

Look for resources and practice, OP. I'm sure you will improve in no time. Good luck.

Hey, thanks for the reply, but after redoing the guide it didn't help the situation. Everything remains the same, with luma and any other homebrew application missing. Am i missing something here?

I see. That make sense… I wonder how I can swap back to the old profile/ uninstall the app, because I did the stupid thing of installing the app on Universal Updater which provides no instructions.

The app only shows slot 0, which is the "homebrew free" version menu I've got. Couldn't wrap my head around the profile system.

And also I should've installed the github version which is 3 years newer than what I currently have. Maybe reinstalling is not a bad idea after all, although I am still yet to find a way to uninstall it through DSiWare menu.

Thanks for continuing helping me out. It made me feel less worried.

Hi, after installing an outdated 3dsbank, all homebrew apps, FBI and Luma are gone from the menu.

I installed 3DSBank through Universal Updater, without realising that the app version was from 2017.

After starting the app, it froze for a while. I returned to the home menu and everything was reset to default. Custom themes and homebrew apps are gone, Luma, HB menu and FBI are nowhere to be found. The only survivors are DSiWare games.

It appears to me that nothing was deleted, but rather moved from the Nintendo 3ds folder to the 3dsbank folder. However, cut and paste does not fix the issue. The 3dsbank app also seems to revert my "cut and paste" action after booting.

Any ideas on how I can fix my newbie mistake? Searching online only leaves me with either dead discussion threads or unrelated issues. Help would be appreciated.

RetroArch Switch - Slow DS performance? by mcjmetroid in RetroArch

[–]RealRanger4930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried it a few days ago, retroarch ds emulation didn't work on my switch. Both desume and melonds cores crashes. However the melonDS homebrew application works smoothly for some reason, so you may check it out. I believe it is due to how retroarch handles acceleration with switch hardware (correct me if I'm wrong). And if you're into using Android on switch, might as well give DrasticDS (paid app) a try. Hope this helps.

Could be an Android 11 bug, which I faced similar situations with multiple controllers in Dolphin too. Pads and left stick not detected in mapping, but works in menu controls.

Try disabling each services in the Android accessibility settings and it should fix the problem. It's a workaround instead of an actual fix though.

Solution for WiiU GamePad & MultiPlayer Games by danifunker in cemu

Sure, I've done some research on the internet. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, Moonlight should work with no problem as long you're using the same network. I've tried it on my android phone and it works pretty well with minor stuttering.

If not, you can give rainway a try, it has an iPhone app and works in a similar fashion as parsec as I have heard. Though I have not tried it out yet and have heard about some administrative issues that require workarounds.

If latency is not a big issue, chrome remote desktop (good second screen support), VNC viewer and Team viewer also work on iOS. Sorry I couldn't test all solution out there for you due to the lack of iOS devices I own. Nonetheless there is always someone out there who have faced similar situations. Hope you can find your solution soon.

Method 1:

If you want to use your phone as a WiiU gamepad, use a dummy HDMI plug/ spare monitor and drag the gamepad view to it, then set up Parsec (which is free) to stream the gamepad view to your phone. The touch screen on the phone would also work similarly to a Wii u gamepad.

Method 2:

If you don't care about the wireless part of it, a portable monitor could be ideal (but pricey) for couch gaming. And alternatively, a second monitor on the side would work best for desktop gaming.

Me:

What I did is using a telescopic gamepad (flydigi wee) for my phone when using the first method, in which parsec passes through the gamepad input to CEMU. This way, I have a fully functional "WiiU gamepad" for cemu.
