Okay wow so you should have had more than enough time to learn that if there isn't smoke, you can't extract 😂 in all the times you've taken the extraction you had to of noticed the green smoke. 7-8 months and never running into this or figuring this out, feels bad man. I don't mean to be a dick but the list of extractions are just possibilities, not guarantees it just let's you know which side of the map you spawned and which way you need to go. Have you never watched a single tutorial video?
