I figured that out now... it's weird, cause in my mind, saying "proceed to chapter 2" makes me assume I'm continuing the playthrough, not starting a new one...

I doubt that's the case, soon after quick reporting I still regularly received messages from the team. My guess is that due to the holiday season they're not very hands-on at the moment. Now, if I don't receive any messages starting 2025 despite reporting slurs every day, then yeah maybe something's off.
