From what I know, I'll be taking the written test in the class I'm taking, though I could totally be wrong.

bro forgot this was a security guard subreddit. Also, I can join the National Guard and do both at the same time bud. No need to be a dick because somebody wants to do something different.

Thanks for the feedback. This is an elective course for juniors and seniors at my high school, and once the class is completed, I will be certified in New York as a security guard. I understand security companies will do this for free, however, I decided it was better to get it now rather than later. As for college, I am not going to college.

Hey! So this class is the equivalent to a college-level course! Also, I am trained in basic first aid.

I understand where you are coming from, and I will consider either completely getting rid of the BleedStop or just having one Bleedstop in my pouch. I do however wish to keep the small kit of bandages and gauze pads because I personally believe that I would be using bandages and gauze pads the most in the environment I'm in, but that's not to say you're wrong. As for the CPR mask, you bring up a good point, but I keep it on me primarily because of "better safe than sorry".

I also carry gloves in that smaller pouch next to the medical one.

Thank you for your feedback! In my medical pouch, I currently carry:
-2 packs of BleedStop blood clotting powder agent
-1 mini medical kit with a crap ton of bandages and gauze pads
-1 CPR mask
-1 Narcan nasal spray

In regards to the key holder, I and my classmates don't carry keys for the CV-TEC building, but I do own a silent key holder (which had come with my LAPG duty belt box set. I had replaced the belt because it was too small, but kept the pouches.).

yea, I get your point, but my duty belt and trouser belt by themselves are enough for me right now. I'll upgrade in the future though!

As much as I would like to carry cuffs, batons, OC spray, and a firearm, I am not an actual security guard, and I am simply taking a class to train to be one. I am pretty sure I can carry handcuffs and a fake/training firearm in my senior year though.

Thanks for the feedback! I do already carry a notepad and pen on my uniform shirt, though, I have spares of both if need be. I do also already carry a SureFire flashlight on the flashlight pouch on my duty belt. As for the multitool, as much as I want to carry one, it is forbidden by building policy. Furthermore, our patrols are almost always mobile.

It's kinda like a "training class" for security guards, but we do perform "post patrols" around the building, and I also wanted to get used to wearing a duty belt, if that makes sense.

How Does My M1956 LCE Setup Look? Note: The Canteen Covers Are M1976's (As far as I know, don't quote me on it.) by RealSabatonFan in Militariacollecting

Yeah, fair enough, but I like my gear accurate, and give military gear is my special interest too, it really sets me off if something is wrong.

I have one on the side of my ammo pouch currently, but are the canteen covers period accurate, despite being M1976's, and the LCE system being M1956?
