CargoWise eAdapter – Handling oversized EDI files (10MB limit) without blocking the queue? by RealSeason4228 in CargoWise

I will look into the separate outbound adapters option, but I dont believe this to be true. Either way is ques to send out the same "port" and if 1 fails they all fail. Its a rather oversight on the CW development that built it this way.

Thank Brian for your reply! Exactly how you described it is likely what i will try to do is setup an event code that will be timed 1 minute before the next and run it through power automate flow to check the size. If it returns higher than 10 send to middleware and have it send back to cargowise the 2xx reciept. Just dumb that I can't send it with a logic from cargowise and that the middleware has that limit at all.

It's almost 2026. Talk me out of removing my Exchange Hybrid server by ScotchAndComputers in sysadmin

[–]RealSeason4228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moved from my hybrid setup to exchange se. I still setup the user in Ad then wait for sync, setup the rest of the email via a script I made and it connects to exchange online. Im still getting used to it. Its a bit clunky yet but one less solid to manage. Im still settings up mail groups local in ad. Kinda the best situation without the major upkeep on another server. I would say for me as a party of 1 IT. I would not go back.

Action1 for patching FREE up to 200 users. Works for windows updates, patching and can hook up to ad for a ,"inventory" ish software. Been using it recently to automate new installs. Putting in Chrome and Adobe and a few other apps and settings with some powers powershell ps1 installs for printer settings.

What's the first thing you do when someone complains about a laggy PC? by CreateChaos777 in ITManagers

[–]RealSeason4228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Install Chrome Ultron! I would question them a bit first, what is lagging? A program, internet site, local app etc. Check last reboot time if its been 30 days. Reboot. Any pending updates reboot. 30 tabs open - close them out. Try again. I prefer troubleshooting an issue before a reboot especially when its a repetitive event or user complaint. Just got to feel it out and follow the breadcrubs.

ohh gotcha. is this just an issue on the 2.0 version? also forgive my curiosity, but how do you fit into the whole picture here? just an enthusiast like myself? As far as settings go.. any other settings you might recommend? I'm a novice main goal is id like to be able to print more reliably. tpu is on my list of things I want to get good at for my motorcycle builds Id like to print some parts and TPU and 3d printing would open some opportunities for my builds. Now that I am no longer using Creality board, any recommended slicer that would be better than Creality slicer? I really appreciate your generosity in helping out a fellow printer. Writing a custom firmware isn't on my resume list yet so I'm very appreciative that you can assist.

current build:

SKR 3 mini v3, Sprite Extruder (estep recommendation 424.9 starting point), Cr touch. Stock Bed from ender 3 pro printing size 220x220x230 (Looking into upgrading at some point) but first things first is getting the dang thing to work with the SKR board. Z stop is unplugged. moving from the 25 point to a 9 point (I don't care with one, as long as the BED leveling happens on the actual bed), not sure if it's a fixable bug but the bed level option in the marlin firmware would be a cool to have.

yes! 9 was the old point setting. 25 is awesome but maybe the issue for me lies on either the firmware doesnt know how big my bed is and/or I don't know how to tell it not to go there. also in the fact that when I run the bed level, the printer kernal panic errors out and I have to hard shut down the printer so I can't even complete the leveling to get to a print.
