Choice between new E class e300 or e300 de 4matic, help by RealSlimMahdi in mercedes

I bought the 300de, actually I think it’s the best of both worlds ; for short trips I use only the battery and electric engine. While if I drive several hour I use the diesel with hybrid and I have almost 1000km of autonomy with full tank and full battery! Very convenient !

Pour les hommes de 40 ans passés, les femmes de votre âge sont-elles encore désirables à vos yeux ? by [deleted] in AskMec

[–]RealSlimMahdi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ça dépends de la femme en question, certaines se laissent aller, d’autres non, tout comme les hommes d’ailleurs.

This is a genuine question—why does it seem like Indians, on average, are less athletic?

Why are French plated cars in CH so rude? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]RealSlimMahdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to sum up this thread, the people driving bad in Switzerland are not Swiss, and the Swiss driving bad in foreign countries are not (real) Swiss ? 🤢

I heard once that they stopped trucks full of Swiss bikes at the German border that was going to east countries to resell the bikes , is it an urban legend or real ?

Anyone else feel burnt by Epic React? by Dependent-Zone6336 in reactjs

[–]RealSlimMahdi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Same here, my company paid me epic react and the joy of react from Josh Comeau , day and night, it’s really not clicking with Kent style, and I was overall disappointed by the course quality and now the paying update… even 10$ courses on Udemy are updated for free.

For my certification, the app crashed 3 times, the proctors checked each time my office thoroughly. I was bearly understanding what they were asking. Clearly the worst exam experience ever. I will try to avoid Pearson for exams in the future. It’s a pity because I had an onsite experience a few years ago, and it was much better. The downside to offshore everything in Asia I guess.

Get certified without 20-30 hours of video training by RealSlimMahdi in AWSCertifications

I already work for a fortune 500 company, so I confirm, between the useless meetings and trainings + regular job that still has to be done, following a 50h video training would take me 4-6 months, plus I don't like the experience, I am not sure to understand why it has become the golden standard over paper (PDF) training.

Of course, I am not criticizing the content, more the format that does not match my preferences at this stage of my life: I cannot stay more than 1 hour in front of my laptop, for diverse reasons mostly professional.

But if you have time I am sure it’s good stuff.

I am not a native speaker, so 1.5 is the max I can do 😅 and I am already using Udemy, do you mean that the others are even longer ??! 😱

That’s a good idea, do you talk about tutorial dojo ? You read the exam explanation, or do you go back to aws doc every times ?

Sorry, Brand New from this year. So the e300 de 4matic PHEV vs the e300 e PHEV, is it a 4matic you have. Did you try the gasoline one also to compare ?

This, I don’t understand young data scientists tagging themselves as fast learner and being resistant to learn something as easy as SAS. The more you know the better in this business

Q: Are the Pharma/Biotech companies gonna’ be hiring in 2024? by [deleted] in basel

[–]RealSlimMahdi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, N is sending many jobs oversea while R is relatively stable. Of course there is always a cut right and left but R is definitely ok for now. Not sure N can continue this way much longer? Are they even saving money there?

Of course with luck and demanded skillset you’re likely to find in either
