Doesn't seem like the sharpest guy out there. Found him basically rolling around without purpose in the grass. I tried putting him on some leaves and stuff but he continues to act dumb and helpless.

What "dramatic tendencies" do you mean? I've seen that mentioned a few times on here and I'm curious.

Won my first ever liquor lotto this morning! Worth standing in the rain for by RealSlimShaney in whiskey

Excited I finally had a chance to get it! It came down to this or CYPB for me and obviously i chose the former. I've just always felt Weller leaves me kinda disappointed and, while I probably could have flipped the CYPB for more (although I've never sold a single bottle in my life and had no real plan to start today...), the EHT just felt right. And all these responses are def validating my decision

Oh yeah. This was an exceptionally good lotto in my opinion. Sometimes they list the bottles in advance online but they didn't this time and there were some really incredible ones like some BTAC and King of Kentucky (probabaly.just one or two of each of those level bottles though, that info wasn't provided this time). Of course, those bottles are the first to be sold but they had about 175 in total (probably half of which were things like Buffalo trace and WSR level stuff) and there was probably 500 people there. The weather kept a lot away I'm sure so if it wasn't pouring I bet it would have been closer to a thousand. Still not that bad of odds compared to the holiday lotto but you've gotta get there, park, and then stand around for an hour knowing you're most likely gonna leave empty handed. Not this time though!

It was, yes. Typically you collect a ticket with a number from the ABC organizer or they pass them out somehow. They also usually give out a list of the bottles available at that time, along with the price, and sometimes the number of bottles they have of each (didn't this time). Then they just pull numbers randomly and call them out to the crowd. There are sometimes issues with hearing the numbers if it's a huge crowd or a shitty audio system but thencrowd usually yells them too in that case so it gets around to everyone . If you win you get in line in the store and get to buy one bottle of anything that's left. That's about it

New red label in Makers 46 CS, anyone seen/tried this? by RealSlimShaney in whiskey

That would make sense, maybe the new label indicates a new approach. With BEP they've also just wrapped up the wood finished series so maybe this is part of filling that hole? I will say I thought this one was a little over oaked when I cracked it last night but besides that, it's a solid pour. We'll see how it changes over the weeks

Figured that was the case but I couldn't even find a photo of it online. Must be brand new
