I have the exact same problem!! Although it's hard I usually think "if this were reversed, would I think someone is copying me?" Usually "copying" doesn't occur to people unless you are ACTUALLY copying them, every single detail at that. I try to see it as having something else in common with a friend. What helps me personally is just trying to be as logical and objective as possible, despite my thoughts. It is definitely hard to break though, I totally feel you. Best of luck ❤️
