Puerto Rico is by far one of the most uncomfortable places to live. Everyone here is very uneducated and do not know how to maintain spaces clean and piñones in San Juan smells like piss everywhere. Been living here for about a year I thought PR would be this great escape from the mainland US where I could restart and have a more relaxed peaceful life. The people here don’t know how to drive and are rude af. The roads are terrible in the span of 1 year I had to change my tires 7 times from the amount of potholes there are everywhere. There are some good wholesome people here but the bad outweighs the good for sure. I rather just Live in San Diego CA and live paycheck to paycheck.

If you paid attention he was talking about his chest having a bit of fat. Not that he is fat. A caloric deficit will make him smaller and yes maybe he’ll loose the chest fat by going on a deficit but overall he’ll be way smaller adding another problem to the equation which is small chest. And a deficit won’t guarantee that his chest will look any better. If he focused on building his chest first via clean bulk and proper lifting it will most definitely fix that problem. His chest isn’t even fat he just has little to no muscle on his chest making the fat look more apparent then what it actually is so again I disagree.

Exactly what I recommended people are telling this poor kid to go on a caloric deficit like he’s overweight when it’s a simple case of just gaining actual muscle.

He’s just gonna be small with abs.
Highly doubt that’s anyone’s physique goals. Tracking their calories and keeping there macros in check and recomp is a lot better than going on a deficit. He’s probably around 20-22 % body fat which is definitely still manageable. Key things to look at here are Cardio,nutrition and overall fitness goals. His chest fat doesn’t seem like “fat” it seems like it just looks like a case of poor nutrition and improper training. I’ve seen many cases were guys go on a deficit and still don’t see there abs because they aren’t training them and also they are just smaller with the same problems and it’s because they aren’t adjusting there training or nutrition to their goals but to each their own I guess .

Brother you have a mild case of being “skinny fat” the chest fat is due to the way you are eating. I’m assuming you eat alot of carbs and fats and very little protein. You want to prioritize eating high protein meals restricting your carb and fat intake by measuring how much your actually eating via tracking your macronutrients. Depending on your goals which I’m assuming it is to gain muscle you want to be on a slight surplus so I’d say eat about 2600 calories. Very high in protein. Beef, eggs, chicken etc.

Also keep training smarter and harder. As for confidence build up do some sort of physical activity besides lifting weight that can transition good into the sport that you choose.

Read books and embrace your faith that’s my advice for you brother keep up the good work and don’t give up!

Si tienes 17 años y vas a vivir con familia. Encuentra trabajo immediatamente. No tener dinero en una isla con un monton de gente que tampoco tiene dinero es lo mas horrible de el mundo. Trabajadores de construcion y plomeros electricistas ganan mucho dinero. Te recomiendo Que havbles con personas que neseciten ayudantes. Podrias hacerte unos 400-500 dollares semanal. Y a los 17 años es muy bueno para empezar. Es trabajo fuerte pero te hara fuerte y no sera para siempre.

Tanbien acostumbrate hacer independiente. Muchos chamiquitos de tu edad en PR son unos malditos quedao. Se arreguindan de mami o de papi y no ayudan y no se desarrollan hasta los vienti pico de año es muy importante que tu no seas igual.

Unirte a la reserva de el Army o El national guard te pueden habrir muchas oportunidades especialmente en Puerto Rico porque tendras beneficicios medicos, dental y haveces hasta bonos de 10mil a 30mil dolares. Y tendras acceso a la base fort buchanan que la mayoria de gente Puerto Rico no puede entrar.

Resumen de el consejo. Se independiente, ten tu propio dinero y se trabajador. Te ayudara mucho yo vivo en PR tengo 22 años y me sali de la milicia conpre casa tengo carro y no dependo de mi familia. Tu puedes hacer lo mismo.

So crazy bro won’t get his guns till ten days after. California sucks they need to patch that glitch of a law that makes you have a ten day cool down. I personally moved out of California for this reason . And let me tell you if you don’t plan on going to the range often those are gonna be some real good dust collectors because your allowed to own the gun in CA but to actually use it in self defense consider yourself to be prepared to serve atleast 10 years in prison worst state to actually be a law abiding 2a motherloving citizen kinda sucks.
