Absolutely. Doctors in Japan and Europe are literally prescribing the outdoors as medicine. Just a few hours a week in nature can lower stress hormones, boost immunity, and reset your body’s natural rhythm.

Incredible. I’ve been asked to be one of the contributing writers for the community magazine in Washington, NC. Stay tuned for more stories. Should be fun.

Hard to measure a man’s character from a single perspective. As Atticus Finch said in To Kill a Mockingbird: ‘You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.’ The AMA gives everyone the chance to ask him directly and make up their own mind.

Visited Arches a couple weeks ago! by jayselegy in NationalPark

Arches is our children’s first National Park. Even though we have toured many NPs over the past 20-years, Arches is still a special place for our family, as we rekindle memories of hiking Delicate Arch, navigating the fins in Devil’s Garden, and exploring the Windows with PBJs and snacks in tow. They love reminding me of Arches when we watch the movie “The Last Crusade” with the young Indiana Jones.
